Guys, quit asking the same few questions

Cyberfile​

• Cyberfile uploads and downloads do not work, this is intentional while a server move is in progress. Just wait for Taco to say when they are resumed.
  • Uploads are re-enabled, most files copied to new server
• Cyberfile thumbnails will probably never be fixed.

Bunkr​

• Bunkr is overloaded so yes downloads and uploads will be slow, you 'may' have a better experience using a European VPN server. There are fixes being planned to cope with the increased traffic such as advanced caching servers, these are not implemented yet.
  • Cache server has been implemented
• Registrations are closed until at least bunkr is no longer overloaded.
  • Registrations currently open
• 429 errors mean you are downloading too much at once, most bunkr servers only allow one download at a time. Pressing play and then pressing download counts as two hence the 429 error.

Update

We've moved Bunkr main services to a new more powerful dedicated server, load went from ~20% CPU to 5%.

We've also enabled full page cache, new uploads and existing uploads you move to albums are instantly shown (cache is purged), but if you edit or delete the album the cache will expire after 60 minutes (subject to get adjusted) automatically.

If you request a new link for an album it will work but old link will expire in 60 mins or whatever time left he cache has of those 60 minutes.

Some news..

Our primary .ru domain has been suspended by the registrar. You can use/replace bunkrr(dot)ru to bunkr.ws if you have saved some links.

We know the reason, which we wont disclose but all we know is that we didn't get any emails prior to remove the "abusive" content.

Registration are now closed.

Some updates, about 1-2 hours ago 2 servers decided to go down at the same time.

Milkshake is back online but will be under maintenance while we make a backup.

Fries has a "fried" no pun intended drive and needs a replacement. Waiting on the DC to replace the disk.

We've updated the status page to reflect this.

We've enabled the registrations again. But now, you need an invitation code in order to register.

Existing users can give the code for them to register.

I must warn that the reason that we moved to invite only for the time being was due to the MASSIVE amount of spam uploaded, specially with the TG groups, which then those TG groups were uploading/sharing VERY QUESTIONABLE (UA) CONTENT.​

So, if you get caught inviting these fucks again, you will be banned.

I was viewing stuff on bunkr yesterday and got a message saying there was maintenance being performed. I checked the status page and the one server is still being worked on. How long does maintenance usually last?

Update: Still down. Is there a way to change to a different sever so I can view the content?

We believe we have recovered/restored ~95% of the files associated to an album, the other 5% of files linked to albums, unfortunately, was lost due to them being fresh uploads and they were not on the backup.

The files are STILL THERE, they just arent associated to any album. If this happened to any of your files simply add them back to your album

If any of your files are not associated to any album, and they were uploaded and associated about 13 hours from this msg (3:35 PM GMT +2) then PM ME so I can take a look at the backup.

Cyberfile update:

We finally got the big server, we have started the transfer of the old uploads to the new server. (To make the transfer faster, we've disabled the old uploads)

We also got in hands the other storage servers that will handle new uploads. We are installing the stack and getting them ready.

Bunkr update:

Fries will get the drive replacement today according to the dc.

Disk has been replaced, rebuilding array. ~2 days.

Couple of updates:

CYBERFILE

Soon cyberfile.su will become cyberfile.su.

Due to the pixl.li incident we are slowly moving to more resilient TLDs. As well so that we can add CloudFlare, this will help with the caching of static files, such as CSS, JS, images, thumbnails, etc. From time to time it feels kinda slow loading all those scripts from the origin, so this will definitely help.

No need to worry, all your files, data, users will remain the same, as well all your previous links will get redirected automatically.

Lastly, due to the implementation of the video thumbnail, we are moving, yet again, cyberfile so that its closer to the storage servers, this way it can download the files faster and process the thumbnails faster. (Downtime will be minimal, around 10 mins more or less)

We have planned, though we have not started working on this feature, on adding video previews or slideshows, just like youtube. (hover the timeline and you'll see whats happening during that time)

BUNKR:

Next week are are adding an extra two storage servers, each have 100TB storage after RAID 10. This will now allow users to upload across 7 different storage servers so that we can balance and spread out the load through all servers.


PIXL:

We are still waiting on the delivery of the server. This server is equipped with 50TB after RAID of storage, so all images will upload locally to the array instead of SFTP (which is right now, reason its slow as fuck)

Honestly your best bet is to avoid any file names or folder names with the actual person. You can perform bunkr searchs on sites like Flaru that'll pop up any files/folders with keywords.
