Guys, quit asking the same few questions

Cyberfile​

  • Cyberfile uploads and downloads do not work, this is intentional while a server move is in progress. Just wait for Taco to say when they are resumed.
    • Uploads are re-enabled, most files copied to new server
  • Cyberfile thumbnails will probably never be fixed.


Bunkr​

  • Bunkr is overloaded so yes downloads and uploads will be slow, you 'may' have a better experience using a European VPN server. There are fixes being planned to cope with the increased traffic such as advanced caching servers, these are not implemented yet.
    • Cache server has been implemented
  • Registrations are closed until at least bunkr is no longer overloaded.
    • Registrations currently open
  • 429 errors mean you are downloading too much at once, most bunkr servers only allow one download at a time. Pressing play and then pressing download counts as two hence the 429 error.

We're working on a prototype.

Cache server specs:

AMD EPYC 8534P (Genoa)
1TB RAM (will be used for cache as well with the ZFS pool)
2x250 NVME for OS
12x4TB NVME Gen4 for cache (ZFS) [Can add more]
2x40Gbit NIC bonded (80Gbit) [Can be upgraded up-to 2x100Gbit]

Before we did this through a reverse proxy but we didn't have quite nice results.

What's different this time? We'll do the file moving, switching, tracking from our own self-made system in which we'll have 100% control, no reverse proxy.

The system will move files, let's say, that have over 1000 views in X hour(s) to the cache server, and then update DB. And it will continue to move active (hot) files over to the cache. When a file is now not as popular we delete the file from the cache, update the DB so that the file gets served from the origin (storage servers) as per usual. And then we just keep doing the same 24x7 fully automated.

I can't access the bunkr homepage for some reason. Been getting "This site can’t be reached" for the last couple of days. I've tried different vpn servers and clearing cookies and still no luck. Not sure what to do

Hi! Sorry for the noob question but I'm getting a 403 Forbidden message when I try to download a file from cyberfile. Can anyone shed some light on this? I am able to access cyberfile sites though. Just can't download. Tried TOR and VPN too. Still the same message. Started happening about an hour ago
