Cyberfile​

• Cyberfile uploads and downloads do not work, this is intentional while a server move is in progress. Just wait for Taco to say when they are resumed.
  • Uploads are re-enabled, most files copied to new server
• Cyberfile thumbnails will probably never be fixed.

Bunkr​

• Bunkr is overloaded so yes downloads and uploads will be slow, you 'may' have a better experience using a European VPN server. There are fixes being planned to cope with the increased traffic such as advanced caching servers, these are not implemented yet.
  • Cache server has been implemented
• Registrations are closed until at least bunkr is no longer overloaded.
  • Registrations currently open
• 429 errors mean you are downloading too much at once, most bunkr servers only allow one download at a time. Pressing play and then pressing download counts as two hence the 429 error.

Just for public knowledge:

Certain if not all servers have a limit of concurrent downloads at a time, this is to prevent abuse. As we add more servers and capacity we'll be able to lift this up as uploads will get distributed more. So downloading more than 2-3 concurrently will trigger the system to block that download.

Couple of good news:

1. New server replacement for the slow server #4 got delivered today and we are already transferring (restoring) from our backups to the new server. Hopefully within the next few weeks we have transferred all the 80-90TB of data we have on that specific server.

2. Starting January, we will drop our current ads and move to cleaner ads such as cam site ads instead of the current ones with less frequency. As well we are ready to sacrifice income for the sake of longevity and and most importantly user satisfaction. Why not do it right now? Because we have a contract for the remaining of the year. So expect to not have all the in-page and constant pops starting next year. So please bear with us for the remaining month and a bit left of this year!

I have a file that shpuld complete an album but wont upload...it is < 2GB wht might the issue be?

What error are you getting?

No error - it appears to process the upload but then you see a no entry sign once it should have completed. Havre tied with same file in different albums. Have also seen happen with other files. I did wonder if some files are blacklisted and checked against a hash value or something but...that seems a little far fetched. I'll re run and post more detailed result

There is an MD5 hash check for duplicate files such that you cannot upload the same file twice to your account, unfortunately there's no message to tell you this.
Also, the upload can sometimes complete but show an error on the upload page, seems to happen around the hour or half past when I assume there is a cron running that causes things to timeout. Check your uploads in dashboard for the file.

You could change the MD5 hash of the file and try uploading again if you cant find it in your dashboard, this isn't a great solution because of the extra storage space it will take up but hopefully resolves your issue

It's always worked fine before yesterday. I've tried different browsers, different internet connections and used VPN in different countries but just get the same thing. Any idea what would cause that?

Thanks - the md5 hash makes sense but, in this case, there is definitely not a duplicate and the chance of a hash collision in 22 files seems unlikely!
I have put the file that wont unload, the error screen in a goifle and the destination album is below. I welcome your feedback

ahh OK I can see that somehow that file got orphaned and was not in an album - great - thanks. An informative error message would be great

I also get same error with these two and I CANNOT see them in uploads. One thing in common with all of them is that I tried to upload by dropping > 5 files to the upload widget

Try lowering the chunk size (this can be found on the config tab) to a smaller value

hmmm- one went through and the rebuilt the chunks - I chose 10MB - any idea why this is an issue - is it my connection? I have full fibre connection to my house so normally I do not have issues. I will drop further and test

----UPDATE---yes the larger file worked at 5MB chunks

Having an issue where some album contents takes ages to load while the others are instantaneous on another album (both playback and downloading)


The slow ones tend to get slightly faster after I connect to a VPN. I'm guessing that this due to the server migration?

Also getting error 429 for the slow ones

any suggestion on watching vids with fewer popups? Ideally just want to watch without downloading them, but impossible with popups.

Bunkr seems to be the dominant player on here by far, so I assume the experience could be better than what I am getting . Thanks in advance!

You can install Brave browser. or if you are on Android you can install Firefox and then install the uBlock origin plugin/extension, that'll do the job.

That being said, starting January we will drop the ad network we currently use and intend to move to new one that has way less pops, and with a higher frequency and cap (you'll get less per day and less frequent, so lets say 1 pop every 1 minute for example, or 3 pops /day, etc.) (this is an example) with the intent of making the user experience better.
