i cant speak for other countries, but i'd argue that in the US, its probably the fault of insurance companies. Our healthcare is so toxically capitalistic that it impacts competition (and quality) negatively. I'm sure that if breast augmentation was seen as a service, like say wellness checks, teeth cleaning, and the like, as opposed to some sort of opulent, excessive luxury, or something purely done for superficial/surface-level reasons...you'd see a lot less scarring.

Of course It could be the anarchist inside me talking shit, but I have never seen a 1000% horrible boob job on a brazilian . Hell, even their transwomen have better looking breasts than some of these cis performers... and thats saying something.

Boob jobs never bothered me except the vertical scars like some have mentioned, but even that I can get passed. The only gripe I have with augmentation is in regards to lips and asses. Like no, those areas look so fucking stupid inflated. I'm in the UK, and there's a wide range of levels available. In general I'd say there's fairly good oversight by the authorities, so you don't get so many disaster cases. In general you get what you pay for, and the best surgeons are expensive. IIRC there's also restrictions on what they're allowed to implant, so the girls who want the truly giant saline expanders have to go to California or wherever.

The cost of everything is higher in the UK though, so those on a budget are increasingly looking abroad to get more/better work done for a lower price. Usually they go to eastern Europe or Turkey*, but plenty go to Thailand these days as well. It's reaching the point where if I see a creator posting from these places on their socials, I assume they've jetted off to get work done in addition to the holiday.

* This applies to civilians as well... To get cosmetic procedures (not covered by the National Health Service), many are opting to go overseas rather than paying privately in this country - coming home with a facelift or upgraded teeth as well as the tan.

Heh, I'm very much a hypocrite/schizophrenic on this topic. I've always preferred natural bodies, but have an uneasy fascination with the bimbo fetish.
