this isnt a pet peeve... but i had no other place to post this, and i needed to vent.

So i was curious and took a stroll down memory lane. Former adult star/OF creator moved back to manyvids because OF sucks and supports genocide etc... So i was lurking on her page to see if there was anything new, since she now has a fanclub there or what have you. As I was clicking around, i noticed she does customs. Her prices start at 375 or so and then $25/m after that. Ok... steep but whatever. THEN i realized she does add ons for an additional charge.

This was my first time buying something and even when I did, I chose a video with the lowest price tag. So I can definitely see that most creators are shit. Going through this forum, I have seen the mention of prices and it’s so outrageous what people charge plus you can’t watch them. It definitely is predatory when they use words like this is the best thing I have released or you won’t want to miss this and then it’s barely good.

There are definitely some really good, honest, fair creators out there. But what tends to happen. Is they get too big/popular... then they hire a messenger, than an ad promoter, then they license their whole thing to an agency...
