Even though a good portion of the goal progress was earned through gambling, it's still crazy how successful her subathon was. The stretch goals were enough for me, but getting that last one on the last day is kino.
I wish more subathons would incorporate a gambling/points system, unironically it makes them far more exciting. I'll have to go through after it ends and clip all the ASMR/in IRL segments.
Also, at the risk of sounding paranoid, I'm pretty sure she always knew that she was going to get to that final tier lol. The promise of coom streams is basically the ultimate carrot on a stick.
She is streaming it on Fansly right now, I heard the that the first half of the vod would be free and the later would be paywalled. I guess we'll see.
Well YFU's first coom stream was incredible; Maybe it's the sleep deprivation or the severe dehydration after wasting so many kids but I legitimately feel like I've lost part of my soul after that, so top marks for the immersion. Top marks all around really. Best 25 bucks a month I've ever spent lol.

Now that's a name I've not heard in a very long time. You're right though, despite his schizo cuntyness digi knew talent when he saw it, or maybe he was just obscenely lucky lol.
I always wonder what the timeline where Natsumi Moe caved and became a lewdtuber (instead of joining Hololive) is like.
You kids don't know Natsumi Moe!? She was one of the EN vtuber pioneers! She laid so much of the groundwork for EN and indie vtubing and now these young turks wont put any respect on her name!
Nah but seriously, she was kind of a trailblazer for EN vtubing back in 2018. Also, and relevant to the post, she was one of the "digivtrex sisters" along with Projekt Melody and YFU - so she had a really well built and rigged 3D model before many other vtubers (even corpo ones) did.
Allegedly digi was trying to pressure her behind the scenes to go lewd; there wasnt a lot of concrete evidence to back this up but, again, digi was a schizo cunt so I wouldn't put it past him.
She's Shiori Novella in Hololive now (one of the only Holos I know as a result lol)

My first experience with VTubers was an article about Mori Calliope from HoloLive asking Atlus to play Persona 3. I read that only because I FUCKING LOVE PERSONA 3. I didn't know about VTubers until...a year later? Maybe. But it's interesting seeing that basically one of the pioneers continued with another company, now more famous and known. Also, I've read her wiki page and people were like "She became a relic...that is being archived" (Shiori is the Archivist of Advent). Interesting. Now I understand her a little more. I'm only here because of memes, lol. But I'm glad I'm learning more.

I started with the "progenitor" at least in mainstream and more broad and general terms, with the one, the only, Kizuna A.I. I guess you could argue that PNG Vtubers/people using avatars and voice softwares (mainly good ol' LOQUENDO), was my gateway to almost very similar but not quite close, to Virtual YouTuber-like content. I was weary of the idea of using 3D avatars, and live2D ones, but that was more so back around in like 2007... 2009/2010 or so.
I ended up getting invested in Holo and other proper Virtual YouTubers, I guess the one that got me hooked into the company was a mix of Korone, bits and pieces of clips of Pekora, as well as the dragon president herself, Coco, and when I was somewhat watching Niji (before the whole mess) if I'm being honest, the one that got me hooked into it was, one of the OG good chads left in that shithole in Rosemi, mainly because she was one of the very few ones that played Yu-Gi-Oh! (mainly Master Duel) here and there. Good times
