I've definitely heard of it from the early days of Vtubing, almost every single rumor and drama could be found there from Corpos to Indies. It was apparently quite the wild westy place.

Too many to rattle off as an itemised list without triggering the spam filter. I'm obviously more familiar with the ones who do porn and their orbiters (*cough* *cough*) but I generally just find independent vtubers and creators more interesting - they only brand they are beholden to is their own which gives them a lot more freedom for creativity and expression - so I naturally keep tabs on a lot of them.
Do you have some in mind you want to talk about?
The vtubers I am most interested in are Saruei and Snuffy. In that order of importance.

That's cool, I like both of them too - though I haven't watched Saru in a long time. I've really been enjoying the more recent Snuffy streams. I'm glad she has vtuber friends she can interact with again.
