Well I saw her new video yesterday and I got to say I was very surprised and happy to see Glow in the Pose barefoot. There was some moments of feet reveal while in the pose and when she changed position while reading a book and resting her right leg on top of her left knee. You can see most of her sole here and her beautiful high arch. Damn I gotta say Glow has some really beautiful defined high arches.

I knew she had excellent soles, but this video does show how impressive her arches are as well. Her strengths definitely outshine any of her flaws, which is true about her in general.

Yes, there have been issues with demonitization of her spit painting videos, and also with visibility. Those videos are getting less views now, but they do well enough to make new ones from time to time. That used to be once a month, now it's less frequent. People have a lot of theories about Sharon, but I think her choices mostly come down to simple business decisions.
They are very obviously business decisions. Some totally normal people in here call her kids videos "grooming videos (Fucking lol)" but she was obviously expecting the "For Kids" tag to made their way into the endless playlists that adults made for their children whenever they give them a phone. I think she was trying to trick the youtube algorithm with that and nothing more, but it obviously hasn't panned out and i doubt that it will seeing how poorly those vids are doing.
As to why she hasn't made kissing/spit painting vids, the views on those are probably the ones that get consistently over 400K, so the views are probably not a reason as to why she doesn't do it as often as a Medical video, triggers in your ass or whatever, but i think that she doesn't like the community those types of vids tend to attract seeing how often she fights with randos sexualizing her on twitter. This woman tries so hard to not sexualize herself, but she chose a career that if she doesn't give in into what her audience wants, she ends up doing ASMR vids for kids that no one asked for or wanted. Like some people in here said, she'll probably eventually give in seeing how she has talked about doing risquee stuff or at least that she has thought about it, but i feel that she will try everything before giving in.
Yes, I agree with your assessment of the kids channel. Kids stuff can get a shitload of views, so she threw her hat into that ring to see what luck she might find. It didn't work out, but I think it's as simple as that. She has also talked about one day becoming a mother, and her reservations about having enough patience for it. Maybe those videos have an added bonus of helping her get more comfortable with the idea and to work on her patience. Though I've watched some of the kids videos, and while her persona is good, she does tend to blast through things without any repetition. Repetition is good for teaching, and it can also be good for ASMR. Obviously this advice doesn't matter because nobody watches those videos, but I would suggest she slow down and take more time with each new piece of information.
In terms of her sexier videos, it's not just a matter of them doing alright. For Sharon to go out of her comfort zone, they have to solidly outperform the other videos she makes. For example, a spit painting video she made 10 months ago has 350K views. The very next video (How to Relax) has 650K views. A spit painting video from 8 months ago has 585K views, and the very next one has 642K views. Her most recent spit painting video has 419K views, but the video previous to that (Whispers Deep in your Ears) has 446K views. When her spit painting videos were doing better, she was making more of them. Like I said, she would post one every month. When the numbers leveled out and stopped differentiating them from other videos, she started to make them less, and instead opted to film other things.
The same principle is true for yoga videos. They have a decent enough number of views now, but neither has yet to pass the million mark. If they performed strongly in the beginning, I feel she would have made more of them, and perhaps made them regularly. She has shown she is willing to try things, but if the reward isn't high enough, she won't continue, at least not consistently. Now she has a membership tier which is an additional revenue stream, so that helps mitigate things.
But a membership for spicier content would certainly bring in more revenue than anything else she has ever done, and anything else she realistically has an opportunity to do now or in the future. I can say with confidence that her book will do very poorly. I haven't read it, but everything I know about her and about publishing and distribution tells me there is nothing there. I get that it's something she's passionate about, but it's a dead end—even more so than the kids channel.
