I've always felt that charging for custom content is better overall than charging to view content, and not just for lewd stuff. If you charge 3 bucks per person, it takes 100 people to make you 3 bucks, and if the pics get leaked after 10 people have seen them, you're out of luck. If you charge 100 bucks to produce custom work, and it's good, then it only takes three clients, and if the videos leak it doesn't matter, you've already made your cash.

Yep whales are the reason they don't take a more scientific approach here. They think that if there are a few people willing to pay $100, there's no reason to charge $10. The hard work is in figuring out what the right ratio of price to payers is, but then again--this really might be too much to ask of an OF thot. After all, there are people with MBAs who try to optimize this sort of thing daily.

This is 100% facts, i remember seeing a video of one of these camgirl studio managers talking about why the girls use them instead of going solo because they have a team of people who communicate with these guys 24/7, and they split 50/50 with the girls, which is way more than these girls would make on their own. They may charge above average for maybe 15% of their goods but most people buy the goods from them even if others are offering the product at a lower price, because they offer lower priced items at a a decent quality.

The OF/twitch model That Sued the internet had not even 500 subscribers if I remember correctly. But still it was her main job/income.

Thing is you can reach so quickly thousands of people online and gain hundreds of subscribers. But still so many models struggle cause they set prices to high, don’t know how to advertise their content or improve their content. (creativity LIke others already mentioned in this thread here).

When I posted something on reddit and it hit the frontage, the YouTube video did go from 5,000 views to 2,5 million views. It’s definitely difficult to fathom these views and numbers online sometimes. Corinna Kopf jas already over a million likes on her OnlyFans page.

Just to add some further insight into the topic of 'whales' ...

I used to manage a girl on ManyVids for a couple of years. I managed her account in a fair, honest way. Prices for videos were fair. Prices for customs were competitive for a girl like her, and I always made sure that she delivered exactly what the dude asked for, even making her re-record certain parts of the video until she got it right. Always replied to messages and never ever scammed anyone. Ever.

Under my management, she never cracked the Top 100.

Then she decides that she wants to manage her own account because she feels like she's not making enough money. Fair enough. I basically rescued her from poverty and gave 2 years of my life to building her brand for a very low percentage of her revenue. But whatever.

So she started managing her account and replying to messages, etc, but she never changed her password, so I spied on everything she did for a few months.

Man oh man, did I get a wake up call on the state of cucks, incels and whales!!

She raised the prices on all of her videos. Doubled the price for customs. And she would reply to these guys in the most disrespectful, ungrateful and abrupt ways possible. Never really answering their questions. Over-charging for everything. Demanding tips for replying to more than a handful of messages. Convincing guys to pay for customs first, then never delivering. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. She basically managed her account in the same way that most OF thots run theirs.

I was convinced that she was destroying her brand, and ruining everything I'd built for her. But instead of these guys calling her out on her scamming bullshit and unfollowing her, they basically did the exact opposite. They bought more. They rarely complained. They did what she told them to do. They worshipped her.

After a couple weeks of managing her own account, she found a single whale - just one guy - who threw so much money at her, for basically nothing in return. Now she rarely makes any content whatsoever, but she's in the Top 50 on ManyVids every month, just from his tips alone.

And that's just from one whale, so you can imagine that some of the more popular girls have dozens, maybe even hundreds of whales who throw ridiculous amounts of money at them. It's no wonder they don't manage their accounts better, or charge fair prices for shit.

That model right there is how girls who could have made a living for years in this field fuck themselves over. She is now beholden to one customer/sugar daddy. That is business 101, diversify.. I have seen this exact scenario with many girls in the industry. I wanted to add my opinion on what led me here in the first place, and has become a frustrating trend. Women spamming reddit with what looks like AMAMZING content, then having a fairly high subscription price on OF (making it look like they have full content) and then all of that content being locked behind a paywall/PPV.

The first OF I paid for was Bea York. She had been posting a *bunch* of G/G content and previews and saying things like "See more on my onlyfans!!" So I bit the bullet and joined, excited to see it, when all I found on her page was NOTHING but mediocre solo content. I messaged her about the G/G content, and she told me that it was all available on her manyvids. I was pissed that I had paid for a bunch of nothing, and felt lied to. I discovered that it was a common practice.

It mostly steered me away from OF for a while, but I eventually tried again and found some good creators, and made it a habit of making sure that the content that led me to their pages was not going to be PPV.

But then it happened- I subscribed to a creator who claimed "no PPV," and as soon as I logged in, I saw that, while that was technically true, all they posted was shorter clips than their reddit as ads for their manyvids. So, furious, I Googled the name, found the old leaker site, and haven't looked back since.

Now, I try to make it a habit to only search here for creators that do expensive PPV, and especially those that claim none, or spam the crap out of reddit with great looking content that winds up being PPV. Or, as people have said, creators that only have like, 7 pieces of content on their page.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents, and I'm grateful for this community. Keep fighting the good fight.

This made remember a Twitter survey that I think Aellagirl did a few years ago about income vs price of only fans and it turned out that women that charged a few bucks vs 25+ made about the same amount of money overall. Women charging lower amounts had more subscribers of course but it all evened out. As someone who loves this site, but still pays for content for certain girls who have a low monthly it does make sense to see more ppv, but if I'm paying 25 bucks a month I expect at least a few freebies.
