sophie is getting paid for videos and photos, what people do with them is out of her control
again, unless there is evidence she is providing actual sexual acts then she is not a sex worker...
doing 2 minutes of research will provide you with this information, a sex worker is almost strictly a term for escorts/prostitutes... i even expanded it to include strippers... and now you're expanding it to include women on onlyfans/the internet... wow, just wow... thanks for making my day with this comedy routine... again, get out of parents basement once in a while...
The term "sex worker" was coined in 1978 by sex worker activist Carol Leigh.[5] Its use became popularized after publication of the anthology, Sex Work: Writings By Women In The Sex Industry in 1987, edited by Frédérique Delacoste and Priscilla Alexander.[6][7][8] The term "sex worker" has since spread into much wider use, including in academic publications, by NGOs and labor unions, and by governmental and intergovernmental agencies, such as the World Health Organization.[9] The term is listed in the Oxford English Dictionary[2] and Merriam-Webster's Dictionary.[10]
The term "sex worker" is used by some types of sex workers (i.e. prostitutes) to avoid invoking the stigma associated with the word "prostitute". Using the term "sex worker" rather than "prostitute" also allows more members of the sex industry to be represented and helps ensure that individuals who are actually prostitutes are not singled out and associated with the negative connotations of "prostitute". In addition, choosing to use the term "sex worker" rather than "prostitute" shows ownership over the individuals' career choices. Some argue that those who prefer the term "sex worker" wish to separate their occupation from their person. Describing someone as a sex worker recognizes that the individual may have many different facets, and are not necessarily defined by their job.
and here is the actual dictionary definition: a person employed in the sex industry, as a prostitute, pornographic film actor, stripper, nude model, or creator of sexually explicit online content.
so lets break it down: she is not in the sex industry, no evidence she is a prostitute, she isn't a pornographic film actor, she is not a stripper, she does not do nude modeling and is not the creator of sexually EXPLICIT content
to quote you: You can't change the meaning of words at will. That's not how language works.
Funny thing is that you just forgot to post this part of the text you got from Wikipedia:
Sex work can take the form of prostitution, stripping or lap dancing, performance in pornography, phone or internet sex, or **any other exchange of sexual services for financial or material gain**
First, the meaning of words is not given by the reason why that word was created, but by the way society uses that word. It's literally common sense that most content creators who produce the same type of content that Sophie does are sex workers. The creators who make the same erotic material as her refer to themselves as sex workers, on reddit there are several examples.
Second, sex work consists of providing sexual services and getting paid for it. This type of service is not restricted to physical contact. You are the one adding this rule.
Third, her not making explicit content doesn't mean she doesn't make sexual content and for me to have to say that is ridiculous. She posts photos completely naked, teasing buyers on all fours arching her ass, VIDEOS TAKING A SHOWER, videos massaging her breasts, messages asking you to cum for her... How is this not erotic content? Are you demented?
