no I see the .m3u8 file. You need to search it in code or you only see it when the you start play and you have network tab open else it will probably only show .ts files.

that explains - i know nothing about searching code - i have no idea how to even
i usually went thru network > media > found the link address for the .m3u8 - edit a few values and was able to download 16gb vids two weeks ago
sometimes its finnicky too - ill refresh the page a 100 times before i hit play and still won't show the grablink
how the f* does one go about handling 2,000+ .ts files anyways?

You hit inspect button and in main window where it shows HTML code you just search for m3u8 file.
You dont need to manually handle .ts files, you just get m3u8 file and use any other method already mentioned in the thread to download the video.

using jdownloader2, is anyone else getting only around 70 KiB/s? Might just be flaky at the moment. i'm also using a vpn.

jdownloader2 downloads as mp4. everything is fine.
Well this is very strange cause i don't see any mp4 when i look on the console. i used to do it past few month without troubles but it seems something is different now

youtube-dlp method still works fine for meguess they finally made it impossible to download the vids.

Still works for me. Make sure you're signed in and your cookies haven't expired. Also you might need to verify your email, just saw a message saying they're deleting non verified accounts now.guess they finally made it impossible to download the vids.

that explains my struggles. I just log in, get the m3u8, start the download of the vid and then close everything in the background. what a shitshow compared how simple it was before.

So as of now, there is no method to download via an addon on a browser? Only the methods mentioned here?

UPDATE: The extension "Live Steam Downloader" is working working to download directly from the browser.
Without having to config anything, it extracts the .m3u8 and downloads it to a .mkv.

well i can confirm my previous method of just grabbing the file - thanks with the help of nornoras post - WORKS
don't need no extensions

1gb - 5gb - 10gb - it is possible and can be done without having to overcomplicate the process itself - a task that can be done overnight or while you are away

How do I download on Mobile? I used to use Aloha and the Video downloader App but now both aren’t working, I also have a Mac but wouldn’t know where to start
