is anyone else not able to download saying its not allowing even 1 download on free accounts anyway round this?
You can also just use something like JDownloader to import all the links you're interested in and just swap VPN server for each video.
I personally use Windscribe (I'm unemployed right now so I can't pay for a better option). I managed to get their free 60GB plan years ago and I still have it to this day.
I use their desktop client combined with IDM's Edge extension, which allows me to download the video(s) I want right before playback. It's a bit unpredictable (sometimes the connections are terminated mid-download), but it works fine for me

The site doesn't work to play anything for free and it jumps directly to upgrade page. Also in case you have created a free account it does not work to play one video for free and you get this info.

yep, but you can easily download videos you're interested in with a download manager and a VPN. It's a little tedious but gets the job down. If the price was more reasonable I'd consider it.
How should that work? No video gets played and no download URL will created you could use with any DL tool. Also if you try to build some custom URLs manually API/token it will fail and points you to "shall_subscribe" message because the free video limit is set to 0 what means I can not watch any single video also not with a free account what was maybe doable before they changed the limit to 0.
The limit isn't new. I use jdownloader, simply copy the URL for the video you're interested in to your clipboard and it'll parse the video file. You need to change VPN per video, but it works very easily.
I can not install JD now (failed). But if this tool works for you or at all then there should also be other tools who could handle this site or? Even yt-dlp didn't add any extractor in the past til today. So can you check out in your JD tool how the direct download URLs of any video from that site is looking like you can do in IDM etc? In case of IDM you can hold the key to force a download before you press the play button and then you get the window of IDM with the download URL with token but right this URL (looks same like years ago) doesn't work also not with any fresh IP etc.
Yes. But the caveat it only seems to work on Chrome. On other browsers videos will not load. Although that does happen on Chrome also from time to time.
must be an issue with your VPN, because I just downloaded like 10GB worth of content pretty quickly.
Did you ever try to find out how to download a file manually from that site? Or did it ever work for you? Can you check the download URLs of any file from that site you get to see in that JD tool? In my case a manually download / play just fails because of video limit 0 and then a redirection to upgrade / pay window. So it seems I have no chance to get anything working in normal case. The question is now whether you use a valid account with JD or not? Otherwise when the JD tool really does work then some people had check this out how JD does it and they had post already some manually steps somewhere (I think). I also can not find any online websites who supports that site to download from. Anyway, just remember I had installed this JD tool long time ago but removed it because of adware n stuff. Can anyone else confirm that the download with JD or JD2 version works or not with this site? If yes then someone should debug it to find out how to manage it without using JD.
I use Jdownloader2, the desktop app. I simply copy the video URL ( for example) and it grabs the video file from the clipboard. It's then available to download like any other file. You need to change your VPN server for each individual file and it downloads very quickly (I average 15-25 mb/s). It really couldn't be simpler and I don't have any kind of account with Recurbate.
Once in a while I have to try a couple different VPN servers for a particular file because it gives me a server error or download limit message in JD2.
I tried downloading using browser plugins a while ago and 9 times out of 10 the download would fail at some point. Once in a while it will stop on JD2 but it reconnects and picks up where the download left off.
The url has to be dug up from the plugin's log file but it won't be any use for anyone else. The recurbate plugin scrapes the page and builds the download with all the required metadata for it to actually work.
