Discussion How NOT to get scammed by a Pornstar/Model

If you are getting a "custom" video and the girl has an additional fee in order to "say your name" in it or something like that, then there is a decent chance you wont be getting a real custom video if you don't pay that extra fee to have your name said. Instead you might be getting a video shes already made and sold to other people, that fits the criteria of what you want in your custom. OR she plans on selling your custom to others once shes done making it. If its a custom vid that is just for you, there should be no reason to have to charge an extra fee to say your name, or something in particular you want her to say.

You guys know a thread about people willing to pay for stuff? Like dm photos or videos

I have gotten a ton of custom video and in every single one I have the creator say my name.....everytime. I agree with pretty much everything you have said and luckily for me the vast majority of the customs I got there wasn't an additional fee. Like you said if you do a custom without saying your name they will 100% sell that video to others and often times for cheaper than what you initially paid

I got 3 on my fansly that do it for $50-80 for 10 min but with that type of energy in your responses I’m not sharing lmfao

Well, ofc the girl is going to resell the video for a cheaper price to other guys. Idk why other dudes feel so weird about that. You're paying for the *custom* part, not the video part. It's not a custom anymore.

Why do some onlyfans creators make a new account and ask their followers to move over to the new one? I was gonna sub to jazz.baranova but her old account seems like it has more content… her old account even links the new one.
Old account was JazzBaranova and new account is jazz.baranova . Also it seems like she made several accounts on Reddit if you search her name.

Sadly this is becoming a common practice and quite frankly it makes little sense. It just creates confusion with fans. Maybe she is greedy and thinks having multiple accounts means more money

I actually don't mind if my custom gets resold for cheaper because it means if people like my 'direction' and the video makes her good money, she will be inclined to make more videos like that, and if you're really lucky maybe she'll even ask you for more ideas.

As for multiple accounts, seems like a common but idiotic move for the lazy girls. They can't keep up multiple accounts and they tend to make multiple to try to cater to different things like making one for foot fetish content and another for whatever, etc. Problem being, for my example, just cause I like feet doesn't mean that's all I want to see and if you got one account with 20 posts and another with 300 I'm still gonna choose the one with more content, and the smaller account is probably gonna get neglected and eventually deleted.

Do your homework and think with your brain rather than your dick. ALWAYS check anything you can find (especially with OF thots) before subbing.

read the bio. what is written there and how it is written tells a lot about what you can expect. if it's just the copyright disclaimer leave and don't even bother to look back.
check twitter, reddit and other social media platforms for teasers, ripped content and on how they interact with their community.
never buy ppv's or customs via the 'tip x and i send...' method. make them send a locked message with a fee to open. if they scam you, you can get your money back from OF, if you get scammed after tipping them your money is gone forever.
be careful with multiple videos in a single message, they're probably trying to hide the length of the videos. i'm subbed to a girl that does video ppvs like that; you get a message with a short teaser but it's blurred, a small description of the theme (if there is one) and sometimes a few free pics as a goodie. perfect way imo.
if you plan on buying ratings (i don't understand why someone would pay for that but do what you like) make them say your name or show that they've actually seen what you send them. i've heard of different dudes getting the same rating message.
don't expect 1on1 conversation with girls that have subs above 3 digits. their pages are most likely (not always) ran by some management company.
if you don't want to get spammed with annoying smiley filled ppv messages avoid big FREE SUB! creators. management, again.

i'm sure i forgot a few things, but basically just keep your eyes open and your dick away when you're not sure about what to expect. in the end, all of that is still a business. peace!

i don’t think so, from my experience with customs in particular, if the creator doesn’t send the content you tipped for, you can go through onlyfans support to get them to contact the model to provide the content. if after 7 days there’s no response from the creator or can’t provide the content, onlyfans should give you your money back.
Even though Onlyfans has it in their rules to make tips “not refundable”, I think it’s just a way to discourage you from trying to get a refund. Through the 2 times, going on 3 times, where a creator didn’t make my custom vid and didn’t respond, onlyfans support helped reassure me they would be on my side if they didn’t respond or make the content.
However I will say you should do your due diligence and not spend money through tips for content if you don’t have to. Onlyfans really needs to make the fansly/manyvids method where you CAN prepay for the content, instead of tying it to tips.

Thats one of the things I absolutely hate about OF that it doesnt tell you the length of each video in a video bundle. They need to copy Fansly on that

yea, i don't see any use of hiding the length other than making such rip offs possible. dk how fansly does it but just make it a slideshow like it is with pictures and show the length of each vid on the bottom

There’s no good reason to hide it other than to mislead, that’s it

Yeah, they're clearly complacent in the scamming because no matter how heinous the scam, they make their profits off of it. Maybe the first year, or two that OnlyFans was around the support was actually helpful against scammers. Either I got lucky those first couple times or the support has been strongly encouraged to never do what is right for customers because since then it's been complete denial about scamming on their part. They would ask to provide screenshots just to waste my time by denying my claim even though it's blatantly obvious the scamming is visible in the pictures. Most people won't take their most public accounts to post about on social media about how porn thot or platform is scamming so they can presume that most of the time they expect it will just not be spoken about often enough to gain traction and give them a bad rep. The only time in memory I can remember onlyfans making a response against a scam was back when the whole bella thorne thing happened. Since then their attitude seems to be the scams don't happen and it's your fault if one of their employees/properties lies to you blatantly for tips and to misrepresent their content. I'm pretty sure Fansly exists largely because of how many people got sick of the way OnlyFans does everything in its power to make scamming and misleading customers as easy as possible.

I've only ever had a couple bad experiences but it wasn't anything major and I didn't lose too much money. I only have a few tips and it I'll be very blunt because I'm stating the obvious but people still seem to always fall for the stuff anyways

- READ THE BIO: A lot of chicks will flat out say they don't do nudity there. If you buy a clip titled "Look how good my tits look!!!" and she's not topless but says in her bio no nudity, you weren't scammed. Or if you're not sure, send a small tip to the creator flat out asking if they send nudity. A lot of them will be upfront about it.

- You're not talking to her: The reality is that a management company is running the account. Sub to enough of these girls and it becomes obvious. They all structure DMs the same and use the same phrases and sentences to describe clips. For YEARS sex workers have made their bread and butter from selling the reality of a "relationship" and OF/Fansly etc are no different. Some of these girls have thousands of subs on OF and millions of followers across all social media platforms. They do not have the time to be personally talking to a bunch of horny dudes and personally running their account. They frankly have better things to do with their time.

- It's probably not a custom: Unless she's saying your name or you've requested something incredibly specific, it's probably a video she has saved for the specific purpose of people who've made similar requests frequently in the past

Biggest warning flags

1) They (often repeatedly) announce that they are clearing out their messages/videos/ppv's.
They have absolutely zero reasons to do this for ANY reason besides to create an artificial pressure on buyers to purchase content that nobody considered worthy of purchase in the past. They know their content sucks, so they've decided to make it a 'limited time collectable' to inflate the value of their trash hoping your fomo & horniness get you to make a bad decision. The truth is that if the content WERE of value, they'd want to not only keep selling it but advertising it since they would expect it to sell.

2) They constantly send out PPV's and they never have a preview thumbnail.
Major red flag, this tells you they KNOW their content is shit and that if you so much as had a single screenshot to base your purchasing decision on, you'd realize that it's shit/low res/bad lighting/low effort/not your thing/doesn't match the description. This is very deliberate obfuscation so that you make a bad buy.

3) They ask for tips before they've even provided any content , or otherwise tell you that you have to pay a tip before they show you the content you want to purchase. This should be obvious, they know that there are no refunds on tips and they can block you if you say anything to them about it and there is nothing that support will do for you. Even more so, if they are requesting tips and not even stating the amount, so they can rationalize asking for more, more, more.

Lol there are hundreds if not thousands of girls guilty of #2. Also the tip that was given to read the bio is a very good one and one of the first things I do when I am interested in a girl. In my opinion when I see in a bio “lewd not nude” I immediately move on 😂

Some thoughts.

Yeah definitely look at the bio. Avoid the ones that are generic. And never assume anything. They want you to assume that you're getting better content than you really are so they have plausible deniability if you complain. A lot of the bad ones like to use "exclusive content" so look out for that. She'll need to spell out in extreme detail what she's offering for me to consider subscribing.

Never pay more than $15/month. With a few exceptions nobody in that price range is worth it. A lot of their page is advertising other girls plus constant ppv dms.

Just want to say that I just got scammed by an onlyfans girl. I saw her spit videos on tiktok and I liked them. So I went to her onlyfans and read her bio:

"If you’re here you probably know me as that spit girl from Tiktok. Subscribe here for never before seen, 18+ spit content and lots lots more.
Ever wished you could see more in my TikToks? Now you can!".

Thought that I was definitely in for a treat, seeing as there were 277 media on her profile. She has BARELY any spit videos and those that she does have are nothing like in the ones I saw on tiktok: just some dribbling out her mouth a bit. The rest of her media is non-spit related, and she even has hairy armpits. Safe to say I'm really annoyed with myself when I should have known better.
