As someone who dropped 11k+ in 2 years on OF, and am now almost completely out the game, here are some tips to get un-addicted:
-If a girl becomes boring to you at ANY point during the subscription, or if you get a sudden moment of clarity, don't just not-resubscribe-- block her.
-If there's ever a piece of content worth $150+... think if it would be better than having a REAL girl. Bc over that amount, you can literally buy the real thing.
-Mute OF message notifications.
-Jerk off as early as possible in the day.
-When you find a new girl, don't sub right away. Add her to your 'list' option on OF, and come back to her tomorrow. If you're not still interested, delete her.
-Give yourself a hard subscription limit of 4 at any time. You can sub to new girls, but it requires getting rid of the old.
-When a pricey ppv arises, think, if the price is worth more than some nice new clothes, a flight somewhere fun, or a delicious plate of ribs... is it worth it? Spend it on those things instead.
-Watch some motivating guy fantasy film like Limitless to try to feel less like a jerk-off cavetroll.
-Rely heavily on this site and other free ones for your pornography use.
-Use your moments of clarity to hard divest as much as possible from OF as you can. (Block models, Disconnect your card from OF, etc.)
I now spend less than 10 bucks a week on OF average. Good luck.

Really solid advice; thanks for sharing. I share a lot of these same thoughts and done some of that...but am still struggling with letting go of a couple models.

This has probably already been said in the 6 pages of the thread but from experience :

- Usually check their bio first, many creators put very important info in their bio (for example No PPV, no full nudity etc) it's a very obvious thing to know but i feel like it's important to remind people of.

- Be wary of girls who offer either free trials or a huge discount on their sub (80-90%) usually these pages are simply mostly PPV paywalled content. If it's free then you can sub but check first her medias if the content is worth renewing.

- It's a huge red flag to me (maybe not for everyone) but creators who hide their medias are just the worst. On fansly i've seen less creators that does that. Especially those who always post PPV with 2 videos in them (happens all the time in OF) so you can't see what you're buying (duration of the video(s) ) like many said, as a customer you should be able to know what you're buying first. There's scammers who sell like 5sec videos just like that.

- Choose fansly over OF: fansly has a better interface overall and feels more customer friendly, plus creators seem way more serious about their job here, on OF it's just a jungle nowadays. (again, just personnal experience)

- Also usually check if there's a thread here first before subbing for anyone so you know exactly what you can expect in terms of content

This helps me greatly separate who is worthy of a sub

How do you find newer creators that don’t have someone offshore chatting to you or auto spam messages 10 times a day.

I paid a well known actress for a custom as per their menu but I can only message if I tip…

Then they did some spin thing which is 100% rigged to not give out the good stuff and I only got 1/3 items and they asked a question which required me to pay $5 only to answer :)

I guess I learned a lesson but can you even recoup these funds through support?

Well the 1/3 items should have been instant delivery when they asked the question as they were bundle items no prep required.

but the custom got acknowledgement a little while ago so we’ll see.

I would reach out to OF support and get advised on next best steps. Send them the screenshots of your convo talking about the bundle and the custom. For future reference always look at this site for the creators content so you can get a sense what they offer and if they aren’t on the site do a google search and if that doesn’t work by a few premade, immediately available PPV’s so you can get an idea

Agree Onlyfans is like Onlyscams, too many horror stories from the guys getting totally ripped off. Onlyfans have system designed in place to help and aid only the creator, where the fans will get ripped off to shreds and they encourage it.

Best bet is Fansly or direct other mediums.

In OF be careful if anyone did a bundle promo. If the amount of videos + pricing sounds too good to be true, the video might be very very short and not worth the price even if all of it bundle up. Go for single fixed content or discuss with the content creator first before making any purchases.

Also, have anyone tried out those that offer custom or videocall? Not a fan of either of these two but I'm just curious whether those are scams or real. A lot model I follow offer this but I never go for it.

If you don't follow this advice, you could fall into the trap of greedy whores who want $19 for a 13 second solo video

You should all know if a girl's reputation is low quality content or being a cheapskate, when you see a video bundle it's usually just a means of hiding the video's length from the buyer since it stops showing video length on onlyfans when two or more videos are sent in one message.

When buying a custom video follow these 3 things and you will be fine.

1. Discuss the time it might take too complete the custom considering for life events and general life stuff these are people after all be patient if delay on content.

2. Be polite do not pester them everyday check back after the discussed time or a day prior and see if everything is going smoothly.

3. Do not let a kind demeanor blind you too a person whom cares about gaining the money and constantly putting off the content. If more than two weeks pass and your custom isn't done and you have not been informed of a date it will be. Become civil ask for a refund or use the tools available on sites like manyvids too get your refund and find a new person to cater your specific desire.

I vouch for this 100%. I've had to get refunds probably a dozen times on Manyvids for content not being delivered after 30 days. You only get MV credit though, but its better than getting burned.

I broke that rule one time with a well known model and got scammed, never again.
