I can see that people are still posting pictures, but I only see previews. When I try to go to the site to see the full image, I get an error message ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR in Chrome or an SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT in Firefox. It started yesterday

I posted the following content as a "mirror"
and again as a "crosspost" in the Sybil thread this morning and it was recently deleted from the Sybil thread.
I thought I was complying with the rules, but apparently not. May I know why, please?
My post followed the rules for being a mirror in the original thread and my crosspost seemed to fall under "No intentionally reposting content that already exists.....An exception being posts that comply with our mirroring policy"

Well that was stupid of me, it was pinned, too....sorry to be a bother. Color me embarrassed.
Oh, and thanks for the lesson.
And asking why got me nothing except a warning and removed for spam. It's not much to want a response to find out why. I know now as you messaged me but not being omniscient on a site I'm relatively new shouldn't be punished without explanation

I'm pretty sure i lost control of a thread i created either during the migration or from prior post being deleted . How do i get that back ?
No one owns or has control of threads. If your first post had a dead link it would have been moved out of the thread and the first post would change to someone else.

An exception being 1080p, 4K and VR versions of videos, all of which are allowed in the same thread. Note: Upscaled/enhanced content does not count as higher quality and is considered reposting.~
Can I post a 1080p version of a video where a 4k version already has been posted?
My intent is to provide a good quality video at a much lower size. For instance, today I found a 4k video posted in a thread that is 8GB and I could post a 1080p version (source quality) I have at less than 1GB. Before I do this, I'd like to find out if this is acceptable according to the rule above.
