Manyvids never took off cause it's only for actual sex workers and has a heavy fetish tilt. It doesn't have all the social media people and D-list celebrities that Onlyfans attracts. It also is poorly regarded among sex workers for its unfriendly interface and the fact it's a 60/40 split compared to Onlyfan's 80/20 or Passes 90/10.

So basically Manyvids is a tiny niche site that isn't even well liked by the few that use it.

Also a lot of the allure of OF was that you could get in touch with social media people, d-list celebrities, influencers etc it was like Insta with nudity sexual content ... and that was the apeal for most people. But as it can get too much work or and least work for maximum money for creators ...agency steps in and you have what is today OF.

so they want to have 80/20 by going on onlyfan instead of manyvids , but hire an agency who do 60/40 .... logic...
Also if you tips on manyvids it is 80/20 , some model like Blue Dream do this way by announcing that the video will be cheaper , it is legit because i buy alot from her since at least 5 years and she answer usually fast , she have a OF too

No they go to Onlyfans cause it has like 93% of the sex work market share and 180 million users. No other site is even in the same universe. Playboy used to try and sign people to exclusive deals but just gave up on it since their site has very little traffic and everyone on there also has an OF. Everyone has an OF. You can't compete with it.

The funny thing is Manyvids laid the ground work for OF in 2017-2018. They signed D-list celebs like Amber Rose, Coco Austin, and Farrah Abraham and had them promote the site. They had a podcast and sponsored events. They were high profile. They were trying to make themselves the biggest sex work site in the world and mainstream. Then the pandemic hit. OF exploded and it became synonymous with the industry. It became a brand and THE brand.

Now Onlyfans controls the industry and the agencies are everywhere. Meanwhile Manyvids is now an obscure clip selling site that is mostly for fetish workers. Their 60/40 splits are not going to attract new talent and their interface is complete garbage and not user-friendly. We don't know the exact numbers but many pundits believe OF cleared over $5 billion in revenue for 2023. Manyvids was at $16.4 million in revenue for 2023. That is literally a tiny little puddle compared to the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean of Onlyfnas. And they likely spent as much. They need a huge influx of cash if they ever want to grow and it's doubtful they will ever get that money. They are pretty much Clips4Sale which was forced to have a rebrand last year. An outdated business with an even more outdated interface that is fighting over the tiny niche fetish market.

Not sure I like your reasoning. At the end of the day, they are selling mid-slightly spicier IG pics. They can just make their page free and do PPV walls and state on their page they don't answer to dm's. But that wont make them money. The issue is them deceiving their fanbase and charging $ people to chat with their favorite influencer (when its not them) or being misleading in description of PPV. The system is set up where they can make a decent living and run their own page/content, but they are greedy and will try to maximize their profit using unethical practices.

I blew five bucks on an exercise. Hear me out:

Girl goes live on Instagram all the time, sometimes like four or five times a day. Always has over 200 viewers. You can find her stuff here easily, she's done porn, you can find everything she's done on coomer. No surprises.
Live, you can tip for flashes, she flashes a ton anyway, she's done demon lives (which you can find in the thread here). She's funny, some would say quirky, some would say an airhead. She's Instagram popular, you can see a guy maybe being attracted to her personality.

She had a five buck OF sale. I was just interested in seeing if there was any more content than I'd already seen, or more available.

Immediately she subbed to me. Her account shows that "she" is online all the time, like every time I log on day or night. All her content on the platform is old stuff (again, in the coomer). All the messages are thought starters, nonsense, and obviously not written by the same person you see on Instagram. Just trying to bait you into a conversation, only occasionally sending out PPV content. And in two weeks there's been NO indication that she herself has ever logged onto her own OF.

Now back it up: On Instagram you already see everything you're going to, you can tip to see more, you can actually interact with her in the live chat.

Want the "more personal" experience? Sign up for her OF and you are guaranteed not to get what you're already getting for free on Instagram.

UNLESS you buy into the BAIT AND SWITCH.

anyone know if agencies figured out how to include your username when sending mass messages? i've noticed recently that i am getting messages from accounts where they use my username & im pretty sure they are agency run accounts. On one account i saw the same message worded identically but the only difference - the first one sent said "baby" and then the most recent one used my name
