Okay, this is an interesting one....
I've always been a "femme girl on femme girl" viewer only because my porn-viewing experience is, and forever has been, a hedonistic experience. To my initial understanding of porn, porn is not real life, but more exploits fantasies that people have (porn scenes are meant to fill a gap in people's sex lives in ways that fulfill their fantasies). So, outside of porn, I'm often annoyed when people use porn as a political platform to state that their minor inconveniences are sourced from a particular source of porn (or even better, when they act like their minor inconveniences in life circumstantially sourced from ignorant porn viewers, of a specific sample of an entire population of various porn viewers, are the equivalent of real problems in life). For me (and I'm not speaking for dumb-fucks that "learn" from porn), porn has never been an educational source, nor has it ever been anything other than a means to an end (an end intended to get my sexual energies out). ...and I know I'm not alone in that.
Now, I'm very old-school with my preferences, so I know I attract some bitter attention with my opinions of my private experience watching "lipstick lesbian porn" (now apparently an unfavorable term for most people despite its accuracy). All said, understand that I'm not saying anybody is wrong with their preferences or even wrong with their opinions... these are merely my opinions (and I guarantee you that I'm immovable on these).
Most porn I gauge under the impression of "how does it fare to the competition" and, somewhat unconsciously, I'm often looking for particulars in a scene. My "pet peeves" usually revolve around the decisions or actions made in a scene that take away from those specifics....
1. The attractiveness of the girls - I'm looking at girls with ideal faces and bodies (from my perspective). If one pretty girl goes through porn and is never paired with another young, pretty girl, I'm annoyed. If the girls never get fully undressed (with exception to wearing stockings or socks)? I'm annoyed. A lot of pairings nowadays seem to go out of their way to not pair two (or more) beautiful, well-endowed, natural girls having sex together... and this got much more common after 2017.
2. The girls are actually having sex and we can see it. - This is usually a cameraman issue... I don't know (or care) if a particular camera makes someone "more vulnerable," they're already having sex on camera and "the ideal shot" is normally where I can see the girls' faces, bodies, and the actual sex happening (otherwise it could easily be softcore... which tends to be boring). You're concerned that you're being exposed by the camera? Good... you're having sex on camera anyway, so I doubt that the anti-porn crowd really cares "how exposed" you were.
3. I already touched on it, but "ideal angles." Allegedly, "the money shot" is a hyper-close-up of a girl's pussy... I hate this if it's used for a long duration of time... ideal bodies, right? How am I to zero-in my focus on a girl's ideal body if the camera person is focused so close that the girl in the shot could literally be anybody? How am I to focus on the girl's face (faking or actually feeling pleasure - but aesthetic either way) if the camera person is hyper-focused on a girl's pussy? It's okay for a time... (I know some people like to see "technique"), but too long and the entire moment is lost because a camera person takes for granted the actual beauty (faces and bodies) of these girls. By extension of this point, if a scene is between two girls having sex... I hate when the camera person decides to do an elongated focus on a guy's face... This is a porn scene intended to arouse me, right? WTF silly face do I care the guys have on?
4. A good performance, "receiving pleasure" and "giving pleasure" - Yes, I too detest overly fake "orgasms" that are blindingly obvious and/or annoying (such as the screaming as if the girls are in pain)... But the inverse is just as annoying: boring, "real life" stuff that doesn't satisfy "fantasy," nor does it sufficiently arouse. As stated, my porn viewing experience is a hedonistic experience: I need some faking because the faking is intended to be arousing... but a girl that sucks at pretending to feel pleasure is... upsetting, at worst, and annoying, at best.
... (it goes on, but there's already a lot to go on) ...
If a scene doesn't fare to the competition, I move on. I only have so much time and space on my computer. If all the new scenes suck, I just go to the old ones (and I don't care if the trends state that it's fetishy - it's my private taste that I decide to buy, or not buy - I guarantee that I still see people first for their humanity, not judge them for their sexuality).
tl;dr: as a person (of old-school tastes) who watchs lesbian scenes only, a lot of stuff just doesn't do it for me anymore. But now and back then, porn scenes can annoy me because they decided to make some amateur-ish error that makes the scene suck in comparison to stuff that's already been released. All said, I'm sure people have an issue with my tastes and, while that's okay, I'm not going to shift in opinion. I'll just ignore your attempt to "convert" me to "the better way" of thinking.
