Interesting that many are after the shutdown, maybe they will join before anyhow and just wait with the announcement.

Yeah it will be obvious if it's any regular streamers if they're still streaming after the 27th even if they haven't officially been announced. They may as well just do a big announcement before the 27th of all the ones they've got agreements with.

I hope WooHanKyung goes Afreeca... Chzzk just gives too many stream lags for me.

The one thing that is unique and different on afreeca compared to both twitch Korea and chzzk is how social streamers are with each other. They do those collab streams with other streamers and join different groups. Haruzzxng and Woojung both joined a group after switching to Afreeca. Froggy did too, but she had to drop out due to health issues, but she still constantly streams with others. Youchi also streamed with Namsoon and I guess may join Sooni group sooner or later.

If woo wants to stream with others then afreeca is the best choice over Chzzk. Also, if money is a priority, and I think it is for Woo (Hakuna exclusive contract), Afreeca >>> Chzzk. Someone posted on the naver forum that the top earner on Chzzk wouldn't even crack the top 50 highest earner on afreeca right now.

Someone posted this on discord, but lol Korea is kicking out twitch in a couple of days and now fined them more than 300k for suspending vods and limiting Korea to 720p.

The commission has requested relevant data to examine whether Twitch had a justifiable reason for limiting the maximum viewing quality, but Twitch turned down the request, citing contractual confidentiality obligations.

wtf is going on? twitch and korean ISP has something behind the scene and they dont want KCC to know?
