Funny thing is the OnlyFans downloader extension i use is not available on the Chrome store anymore yet somehow still works for source quality

I just got a new laptop and you are right! I couldn't find that downloader extension on the chrome store either ! And to add insult to injury , I cant even even recall the name of that extension or the developer name .
The one I use/used is called "downloader for onlyfans.com" in the Chrome Webstore. The developer is/was @extension_dev on twitter. His last post on Twitter is from Oct. 25, 2020 and the extension was removed from the Chrome store. I have it installed on both of my laptops and it still works flawlessly, except for the new DRM material. If anybody knows a way to export an installed chrome plugin I could post it for you. I also have a new PC that I built that I would like to install it on lol. Currently I'm using the "Allow Right-Click" extension on Chrome which works just fine for both pictures and videos on OF (again, except for the new DRM content.)

FYI guys, using Firefox like this has been my preferred method for saving OF files.
I just had a custom come in with DRM. The Media tab in Firefox doesn't download it.

The setting appears to be per account not per piece of content so if she enabled it on her account then its gonna affect everything new uplaoded
Welp, I think someone I'm subbed to set up the DRM on their stuff. Bought a video that was sent out a month ago I've been meaning to buy, and bought a set that went up yesterday. Can't download the videos in that set, but I can download the vid that was up a month ago.
Between this and the person who can't download their custom, I might have to rethink actually buying customs from people in the future.

I mean if the implementation of DRM regarding games and music are any indication, especially in regards to games, then the shit's getting cracked within a month and the only people who get fucked are the legit folks and customers who just wanna download so they can have it for themself in case things go tits up and the vids are deleted.

Maybe if things do go tits up we'll get more traffic here, and maybe a lot of us who don't/can't buy will finally get the content we've been looking for for the longest time
onlyfans uses Widevine L3. Widevine L3 has already been cracked. the solution is on the earlier pages of this thread. but the crack can be relatively complicated for the average user. there's no 1 button crack yet. and there might not be.
This is the biggest problem. I don't care if someone chooses to enable DRM, provided I can choose not to subscribe to that particular content provider.
However, I don't think there will ever be a way of knowing for sure whether an OF page is DRM-enabled until after you subscribe. Even if someone has the nerve to advertise 'DRM-FREE!' or 'DRM ENABLED!' in their page blurb, there's no guarantee it'll be true.
Which means the only way to avoid DRM is to avoid the platform altogether. And that means never subscribing to any OF pages ever again. It's basically over and I can safely delete my OF account. Might be quite liberating actually...

The trial works but has a 4 MB limit and its $25 for the full thing.
The trial didnt always get the sound for me, not sure if that's just a trial version bug with it only saving 4 MB and so the audio gets cut.
Its not 'source' but it is easier. I dont fancy paying full price to find out if it works properly
