I'm using Aloha browser, and I can't download creators' videos on their feed recently, but still able to download videos on DM, it's probably related to DRM, but I don't know which is which

Anyone experiencing the same thing?

If you click on the picture quality gear and it says auto, that means it has drm.

So what is the best way to download pictures from OF using a Windows computer?

I downloaded the free trial version of IDM, and that downloads videos, but not pictures. Even though I didn't want to, I downloaded Chrome and also the Chrome extensions listed at the top of the thread, but they don't seem to work.

Is it worth trying to understand the Python options?

You have to download the pix/videos manually though.

For an automated system, your best bet is Sim0n00ps script.

It still works, but unfortunately the extension hasn't been updated in quite a long time and only generates download prompts for the first two pieces of media in any private message, so you'll probably want to use something like the allow right click extension to save bigger sets.

Wall posts seem to work fine though, no matter how much media is in the post.

hehe, I never noticed that hiccup with PM content. Just tested it and you are correct.

However, there is actually a way around it.
In your PMs, if you click on the Purchases tab at the top, it will bring up a new page with all the content that you have bought.
You should now have download buttons for all media, beside each post.

With that said, I also run Sim0n00ps script, so I'm well covered.

The extension is still probably the best option though, for any non-techy newbies or for those who just want to grab 1 or 2 specific items.

Works fine with vids but for pics it only downloads the small/preview version (960x? or ?x960) from the Purchased tab.

Just download the app Aloha browser on the App Store. And use this guide on how to download videos and save photos but just know it can’t download DRM videos. You’ll need to log in on the app’s browser onto OF to do all that.
