I dont know if its actually for a green card or maybe for something else. Maybe a certain Level of skill is required to participate in the course. I dont think her english is bad, its just her pronunciation that is kinda wacky. Given she is from brazil and was only in CA for a few month she probably has not many people to talk English to and more imporatantly have to listen to.
I assume the course is going to take a while, so she needs to reside there for the duration. Considering she said she would create several videos she could dripfeed, it seems it's quite the long course. However, I do believe she said something about an intensive course - which shouldn't be long in that case. Could still mean she qualifies as a student and has to have a VISA/Greencard. I don't know much about American immigration policies, so I could be completely mistaken.
I see. Well, I honestly see it as a win-win as she'll be gone for a while, and when she returns her lip swelling won't be as bad anymore. Despite what I said about the types of individuals working in the sex industry, I will give Mai credit for looking to better herself in a language that isn't her first. And as much as it seems absurd of her to want to travel to America for English lessons, there's something to be said about her being able to practice/speak the languge around those who utilize it as their native tongue and naturally as well.
Agreed , it IS absurd and it's a certainty that Brasil has a ton of american schools , she could save a ton of money studying it there , either she is making a big financial gaffe or she is much richer than anyone thinks.
On some people were discussing about that topic and someone said she could earn around 30-50k$ a month. I would say with that amount of money it won't be a problem.

Agreed although those estimates are most if not all the time hilariously wrong , i have contact with a Girl who does OF for years now and I've showed her one estimator website and she said it's less than 40% of what the website predicted , of course still good money , but not "i dont ever need to worry about saving up money" kind of income.
Also don't forget that OF takes a major part of that as well, don't know how much though. And a lot of these girls burn through their money as well (like getting fake lips as a birthday present for yourself for no reason), like most people who aren't used to receiving and having that kind of money.
She can get an EB-2 green card, which is for "Professionals with Advanced Degrees or Exceptional Ability." She definitely has the exceptional ability of making me nut.
