You can also use The Stream Detector if you use Google Chrome. You also need streamlink on the command line. Simply let the video play on recu.me, copy the command from Stream Detector and start it on the terminal. But only works for public videos.

Jdownloader isn't even adding the links for me? I did all the steps properly, my account on jdownloader seems ready to download a video, but when I copy the link nothing happens, it doesn't seem to recognize it.
Remove the performer name:

change it from to
the model names just got added to video urls from a recent site update, jd2 still only recognizes links from the old url format
I have had the same issue even with a VPN but creating one on another browser or device worked for me.
You have to disable adblockers in your browser like ublock adblock and so on. Refresh the site and it should work.
How much surfing around the site did you do until it showed up? Waiting until the captcha shows up, click around, but it isn't.
To trigger it, you need to renew your IP address or use VPN software. I use Hola VPN and do ip hopping with different countries. If you want to use JD2, then I recommend the software version, because there is also a Chrome extension version. I recommend JD2 for hidden videos and the browser for public ones. For this I recommend the extension “The Stream Detector” and in the terminal you need the package “streamlink”. I don't use Windows, but it should work for that too.
What are these 'hidden' videos you are referring to? Is there content on there that isn't viewable under normal conditions?
I tried this, and unable to reproduce. I will detail my steps.
1. Using express vpn, I refresh to a new location, open up recu, I get the captcha page, and pass it.
2. I immediately get the cookies (using EditThisCookie2 firefox extension)
3. I edit my account manager in JD2, updating the password to this cookie (username is still email). This is successful and I see that it shows my basic account.
4. I copy the link that I want to download and paste it in JD2.
5. I right click the link and start the download. But it fails, says it is blocked by cloudflare.

Are your videos hidden?
If somebody else watched a video using that VPN ip it will get blocked for 24h. I use a vpn and sometimes have to try 4-5 different connections before I find one that hasn’t been used that day.
If you look back at the plug-in page (where your accounts are listed) after you get blocked by cloud flare it will probably say “daily download limit reached” where it previously said “basic plan: okay” or whatever it says.
I tries this and I'm able to get the clips. However, when I try to merge them there's always a gap between the clips. Did you experience this? If so, how did you fix it?
I had no gaps between the clips. I sorted the clips by copying date and connected them in this order

Well, it depends on your ISP and router model. You have to make sure that your ISP allows dynamic IP addresses (reconnection is possible). In your router's interface you can request a reconnection or you can use JD2. JD2 has a reconnection wizard.
thanks for your reply, i figured it out now.. but after 3 videos downloaded.. now im getting 300kb/s instead of 1mb/s.. any idea why it suddenly slowed down?
