You half assing your office job for (I'm guessing) low 5 figures a year is a little different, mate.
Aftyn literally gave up a doctor's salary for a couple days work a month. That's not a couple days "real, honest work" spending the rest of her time bored at a desk in an office in a suit and tie, that's spending the rest of her month doing literally anything she wants because she has money AND time, which is something the vast majority of humans only get to experience in old age, if they ever even do. She could even work hard for four straight weeks filming a year's worth of stuff and then spend the next 11 months completely free AND raking in the kind of salary people spend hundreds of grand and eight years in college for the chance to bust their ass six days a week to make. That's not an Office Space style life, that's a mega lotto winner's life.
What really blows my mind is she already did the hard part building up her channel and patreon to the point she was making that kind of money, and then just gave it up.
Even if she just wants to bum around the house playing videogames and watching anime with her hubby, one major illness would destroy them financially and then it's bussing tables in her 40s and 50s because it's harder to make ASMR money when your tits are sagging. Girls like her and Puffin are going to be kicking themselves in the decades to come, you can pretty much guarantee it.
