Guide AI Upscaling/Enhancing

I Know this is not the request thread but Hey, I have a request, Can you resize and upscale/enhance this low quality video to 1080p60fps or 1440p60fps ??
Yes my friend. As you may know you are the reason why I invested time into this AI stuff. I have always underestimated the utility of it until I saw your work. Def try them out. I think you will find them to be more realistic and pleasing to the eyes than Iris, albeit being slightly inferior in sharpness and de-noise.
Idk i have had a lot of luck using Artemis medium or low quality as input condition for for lower quality videos. only use x2 upscale. Unfortunately my computer is old and takes way to long so I dont change frames (that could make it better idk, probably not)
It depends on what one would define as "better". If you're going for sharpness, sure, Iris and artemis can yield perfectly sharp results but they come at a great cost. Both Artemis and Iris are aggressive skin softeners and denoiser. Whereas Proteus, another popular model for low quality videos, is an aggressive sharpener and dehazer. They all have their own unique qualities, or flaws depending on the person. If it looks good to you go for it. But if the goal is to preserve fine details, such as freckles, and blemishes, then Gaia is the way (1080p and up). Anything lower I don't even bother, waste of time imo.
This is just a warning If your computer is older than 4 years also do even think about trying upscale videos it will take you 40 to 60 min to upscale one min of video not worth it. My computer is 10 years old I have dones some upgrades I am running 24gb ddr3 ram and a RX6600 still not good enough for video upscaling.

Is Topaz the only way to go or is there any other decent apps? Are there any that work well on phones?
for quick upscaling, i setup an emby server to play the videos in the browser (Chromium based) with NVIDIA RTX video enhancement on, and the result is pretty good

Set up the Emby server, I couldn't make the RTX Super Resolution works on my browser, which is edge.
