I have a feeling this is going to result in a minor/mild backlash against her for anyone holding out hope she'd come back - almost like Amouranth in that people felt shortchanged once it emerged that she was actually married while she made herself out to be single. And yes, I know people knew Aftyn to be boo'd up already, but minds change once they see evidence of someone's marriage like wedding pictures. Best that she kept this shit private knowing how popular she'd gotten.

Weddings cost a lot of money - especially if women are hell-bent on having that wedding they were dreaming of since they were little girls - and unless she's a millionaire or had the money invested wisely/diversely, that money wouldn't be enough to live on for the rest of her life with her husband. If she's officially retired, she's just a sugar mommy and not a provider since providers actually need to work to qualify as such (I have no clue what her education level is and if she's working).

Financially independent women in most cases work - I think if a woman won the lottery, inherited a shitload of cash from a dead relative as promised in a will or won a huge settlement from a lawsuit of some kind, most people wouldn't perceive that woman as being "financially independent" if she didn't have to work for that money and doesn't work as it is (assuming Aftyn doesn't work, which I don't know if that's the case or not).

Though I know not everyone is capable of it, it is quite possible to bend a one-time fortune into money that will 'work for you' so to speak. I am not intimately familiar with Aftyn's personal details but since those wedding/reception/whatever photos seem to all be in a home I don't think this was a bank buster. I am guessing it's someone's home since the cake/snax are on a kitchen counter and there is a pool table in the reflection of the window in that one with the saddles.

Plus Aftynreally doesn't strike me as the 'big spender' type.

As I was typing the wedding comment above this reply you're quoting, I did wonder for a moment if the wedding was a more intimate, private one in a home with fewer people. I was merely speculating that weddings are a big drain on a couple's finances, especially if the bride and her family are paying for it (per tradition).
 
This explains it, and yeah good for them, especially for him i have to say no idea how a guy that average snags aftyn (though i suspect the fact he didn't shave or groom at all makes him look worse than he normally does), goes to prove yet again that you just need to keep trying and you can snag someone way above your league eventually. Sad that there's no more Aftyn videos, though i kinda expected it after such a long pause, as i said once before up to other girls now to pick up where she left off and as for Aftyn and Mr. Lucky, congratulations and i wish them a good life together from now on

Remember that someone is paying the bill for her website, pausing her Patreon and she may or may not have a OnlyFans account. When all those things go away then yeah, it's over. But I wouldn't give up hope just yet.
