Sure last year but what about all the money she made before then, 40-50k a month is ~600k a year she's most likely a millionaire, doesn't need to work another day in her life if she's smart with her money and doesn't blow it all. I think the big issue with your argument about "all the money before then" is that you are assuming she is making 40-50k a month for 12 months every year since she was active.
I'm assuming an average of $20 per sub for everything. In 2020, the first year she got to 2k subs would be the first year that she would make 40k a month, with June being around 2.5k or $50k that month. She did that for ~6 months? But I'll bite and lets assume 50k every month for 6 months. That's 300k that year, if we add in the 60k from the only month she charged in 2021 that's a grand total of 360k for those two years. 2019 I'll be generous and give her 1.5k subs per month, I'm almost doubling her subs for Jan but I can't be bothered, and I'll say she charged the full year, so that's another 1500subs * $20 * 12months = 360k, so now we are at 720k. 2018 again I'll be generous and say she has 1k subs every month (she has only 200 in January so I'm being insanely generous) and charged all year 1000 * 20 * 12 = 240k. So her grand total since graphtreon has been measuring her subs is 960k.
Okay so she is close to 1 million based on all the assumptions I've made. But remember this is all before taxes, and at that amount Ol' Uncle Sam going to want a pretty big taste. Plus considering that she has filed for an LLC since quitting my guess is she wasn't doing her taxes correctly and had the IRS all over her, that's going to be fines. I also will admit that I have zero insight into other sources of income during this time. Did she take a ton of payed customs? If she did, then my guess is she made some decent money from that, but probably not even close to an extra million dollars.
So I highly doubt she has made enough money to never work again. 1 million for someone Aftyn's age just isn't as much as you might think. She probably has a house payment and car payments. Plus taxes and utilities and everything else that comes with owning property and vehicles. She also seems to have quite a few animals that will require the vet. And all kinds of other bull shit that cost money and just keeps adding up. All of this is assuming that she never starts a family or goes on vacation and she remains in relatively good health for the rest of her life.
So what I'm trying to say is yes she made quite a bit of money and has a nice setup for herself, but she will need more income without a doubt. I hope she comes back to patreon, but at this point I just don't know, and won't be getting my hopes up.
This point could not be repeated enough. So many ASMR girls who make the jump to having premium content do lewd photoshoots/videos that have no relationship to ASMR at all. One of life's greatest mysteries
I was just thinking about this not too long ago. Why keep the account if she doesn't plan to come back? Most of this is complete conjecture on my part but here is my best guess as to why, even if she's not planning to come back.
From my experience to get access to the videos that are hosted on her website you need to have an "active" Patreon subscription. So she doesn't want to charge people because she's not making new stuff, but she also doesn't want to shut the account down because then people lose access to the videos they already purchased. Also as far as pausing billing it seems like a simple bot would be able to pause her parteon each month. But I don't know what kind of human input is required to pause billing on that website.
