My number one underrated performer is Charlie Laine who started around 2002 and ended in 2011-2012. I was just thinking about her today and realized she is never mentioned in regards to great G/G-only performers for some reason. I think it may be because she was around during the era of garbage porn where nothing was taken seriously and minimal effort was put in to make the scene appealing aside from 'two girls going at it' which I despise. I mean wearing the most ridiculous clothes, fucking in the most absurd locations, etc. -- there's zero rhyme or reason to the scene -- it's not appealing in the slightest.
I believe if she were around today she would be everywhere. Cute as fuck, relatively good acting skills, very much into what she did. She put so much in to her scenes with Girlfriends Films, Sweetheart Video, New Sensations and even her scenes on PowerMunch with them being more "reality" based are fantastic. I can only imagine the quality of content should would produce with studios like All Her Luv, Adult Time, Lesbian X, Bellesa, Digital Sin, etc.
Another underrated one who has done both B/G and G/G but I know her only from her G/G stuff is Michelle Lay. A tad older than most who I believe was already in her 30s by the time she started. But fuck, her intensity was nuts and her scene with Sara Stone from Lesbian Babysitters 2 is honestly one of the greatest buildups and executions when it came to the sex. I doubt it, and this is a testament to her enthusiasm, but I wouldn't be surprised if Michelle was truly into Sara with the way she couldn't keep her hands off her. Also the scenes she did with Zoe Britton, Isis Love, Ann Marie Rios, Zoey Holloway and Sindy Lange are top tier as well.

- Uma Jolie: I've heard she is absolutely horrible to deal with off-camera but her stuff is top notch. Mom Swap with MC (I don't know if I can name her but if you know, you know) is amazing but also kinda weird and creepy seeing how into it MC was knowing what happened. Authenticity is key I suppose.
- Carter Cruise: Extremely consistent when it came to her scenes.
- Jessie Andrews: Probably the one I would give anything to have a night with (pathetic yeah I know, fuck off).
As for overrated, there's a few I can think of.
- Riley Reid: I have no idea why or how people like her stuff. She's annoying as fuck. I think I've only liked one scene she's ever done and that was because of Malena Morgan with We Live Together.
- Lana Rhoades: I loved her when she first started, Going Bonkers scene 2 from GirlsWay with Kenna James is phenomenal, her scene with Kirsten Lee is in my top 10 all-time and her eyes where amazing but then she went under the knife and I lost total interest. After that nothing but breakdown after breakdown which I do think aren't entirely her fault with some outside circumstances playing a part but I won't get into that here. Anyway, she really fell off and how people still hold her up to where she was is beyond me, it's really sad to she her now.
- Pretty much every 'Brazzers' constant. Just gross. How is that overrated? They obviously are popular and keep getting work, popular well beyond where I think they should be.

My biggest issue with women in the industry is they don't realise guys want someone with a unique look, character and charm. I guess they see their content and hate how they look, compare themselves as a product and alter themselves. The other issue is they undersell themselves, act like cheap sluts, which is fine, but gets a bit boring after a while. I blame the business in a way, it shapes the content, and pushes generic every time.
I only ever went to one porn exhibition and all I saw was tiny women with absurd implants and lip fillers. The girls not in the business who were there stood out more. Naturally beautiful girls who hadn't shaped themselves as products.

I'd argue that the porn industry actually knows that there is market for relatively natural looking women. Just compare the girls filmed by Nubiles with OF girls.
I said AW was overrated...but perhaps the better adjective would be over-exposed. At some point she became "the" face of porn (because she was the Aussie trying to be cerebral about sex/porn studies) and was just everywhere.
