1. Make just one folder with these files

Rename OF DL.exe to OFDL.exe

3.

Fill out the auth.json file

4.

In this folder hold shift + right click mouse and choose Open the command prompt here

5.

Enter command OFDL

Only way rn would be to use something like parallels or run a Windows VM on your Mac, you can install .NET on Macs I would just need to create a release that targets Mac.

I finally figured it out why some people are getting:

This happens when you download the wrong yt-dlp file. Make sure you download the one for windows.

still happenes to me where i double click the OFDL.exe file and i see it open for a split second and it says welcome to OF-DL then immediately disappears. just double checked my json file and everything appears correct.

Does it mention that the paths to yt-dlp, ffmpeg and mp4decyrpt are fine, if not then that might be your issue. Make sure you replace all of the \ with / and make sure that the path is spelt correctly.

As a Mac user, it seems the only way this will work is by using it in a VM unless a Mac version is made. I have tried using both Wine & CrossOver and it fails to run. I'm sure its possible using a VM but having to download Parallels and set aside 20 gigs just for Windows installation just to try and run this exe is a huge pain in the ass.

I really hope someone makes a Mac version sooner than later.

I think you might have to check the json file again.
Even if there is a '' in the wrong place or an extra one, things can go awry.

The video is black because it hasn't been decrypted and that's because of the error you get which is do with getting the decryption key. I have just managed to download a DRM video just fine so nothing I can really do to help other than say try again.
