If you look at a lot of porn for women - they put a lot of effort into lighting and aesthetics. It seems to be a LOT more important for women than men. I dont think there really is a problems with xev's taste vs the audiences taste. It tends to be a problem in how long it takes for her to create new videos.
That combined with her trying to hide her body (more specifically her boobs) tends to make videos more tame then they should be.
It would be fine if the videos were fully explicit, but waiting 4-5 months for a video and have not much to see makes the videos seem alot worse

Yeah but if what I say is true if she didn't care b/c she is rich why would she put so much effort and reshoot these new videos all the time. If she was rich she would just put out shit easy to produce content. Not this super high production value shit she's making now.
She has money and time on her hands, so she is experimenting with her new 'art form' . She is not doing it because of the viewers, she is doing it for herself and knows some of you will pay for it anyways. Its a win-win for her.
