So there's a request section attached to the "premium fan sites" section of the forum. Based on the rules and guidelines its used for specific content from a specifically requested source. Onlyfans/patreon content of a single person kind of thing. You are required to post a linkto a specific model or content creator.

But what if I want to request, say, a type, or genre of porn?
I'd have to hope that there was thread already open in [other] and search for it.
Is there another requests section?

I'm pretty confident you can request for general things(like a genre of porn) by starting a thread in "Requests" similar with any other model request thread since threads like this exist:
And the link requirement applies only for models as reference and maybe as a redundancy thing because some people do not title the thread correctly but the username of a model will be included in the link and people will find the thread easier.
When doing your request, you can post some examples like websites as reference for the type of content you want or sites that you already know + few pics I guess.

Also when the thread will have enough content you can ask to be moved in the "other" section I think because the request section has endless number of pages.
If you don't want to start the thread in "requests" you can collect some content of your type, upload it then post it directly in the "other" section by starting a thread there if you can.
If the type of content you want is kind of niche and/or super specific, don't expect a lot of activity in the thread, in a sense that little to no activity will not be a surprise.
