I'm starting to upload content there, but I don't know how reliable it is over time.
In addition, it is such a simple interface that I have not been able to find a FAQ, such as to know what maximum capacity exists per user,
if the files are deleted every 30 days as it happens in other hosts.I want to know absolutely everything possible about this server!I have seen that many people upload their content there, and share it with the forum.
Personally I'm running out of local space, so it's being a cloud host for me right now, but I'm not sure if it's a good option.
I read themads.

PS:

Actually when you go to the FAQ strangely that section is always down.

I hate that you cant go full screen with the + and - 15 sec button. Instead you try to move the bar across and the ads make you have to refresh as it opens a new window. Awful experience for mobile users, hard enough to even get through the ads to play a video in the first place

It's free hosting - resilient to take-downs - the Dashboard is the bee's knees: The album management is spot on and there's a way to stop link leechers dead in their tracks using album links I just discovered
(that means zero complaints from uploaders - the people it's intended for)

... and after the problem with the g-file apocalypse .. and having to re-up anything again FML! It's good not have to think about doing it again

But I guess the best part is ... the only people that moan or complain about it are users you actually don't intend your videos for.
- seems like there must be an in-built IQ detector that stops em .. can't use a vpn, can't be arsed to read posted threads, can't navigate a few ads .. then you don't get videos :)
nice one bunkr!

Like one of the earlier posts said - it's reliable for longer hosting, but the constant pop-up ads on there make it such a burden to download from. If there's another option available like gofile or cyberdrop I'll try those first, but most of the time bunkr hosts the files way longer than other hosting sites. Maybe because nobody wants to click the link and fight off the ads, I don't know.

Yes guys, we all hate ads, but we cant have the best of both worlds.

If you want less ads start using cyberfile more. CyberFile system is way more advanced and allows us to save money on servers, thus, not having that many ads. Still has some but less.

There seems to be quite a bit of self-entitlement in this thread .. I'm not naming anyone - but you can spot the comments easily yourself.

bunkr is adequate and simple enough to use for all uploaders in this forum - so that means WE can easily continue to upload for you

But If YOU the user, can''t be arsed to figure out how to download good content for free - then the problem is YOU it's not bunkr.

* For non-English speakers, Self-Entitlement is: a sense of being owed something when they have done nothing to deserve special treatment.

Bunkr is great. In the sea of dead gofiles, I can count on a Bunkr or Cyberfile link to still work.

The only people I see complain about it are lurkers and people from restricted countries.

The one thing I can complain about is only being able to download a couple of files at a time, but I assume it's just for load balance. I do not mind the limitation.

Bit of a self report there I see.

The OP is from an uploader asking other uploaders their opinions. (i.e. he points to the FAQ in the admin section that other uploaders see, he notes the storage limits that other uploaders see)

But Whingeing in this thread from people:
- who have never uploaded a file in their life (you have an interesting "gimme gimme" post history)
- and who can't (or are just too thick to) navigate adverts (which actually PAYS for our free storage)
is just annoying spam for the rest of us.

Really depends on which server you are trying to download from to be honest, not sure what else we can do apart from the servers in central europe but thats about it, which is gonna be hard because not all providers are resilient.

So what exactly does chunk size do? I just set it to the maximum of 95, because it seems to pause less while uploading that way.

And I'm just curious, why is the unique file identifier length set by the user? Couldn't you just go with the minimum of 4, always, and then assign a new 4 digit string if the combination of filename and unique file identifier already exists?

Or is the unique file identifier alone used internally to identify files?
