Most of my threads are on watch and when new messages are posted I do not receive a notification. Is there any known fix? I have I have Un-watched and re-watched each of the forums and it still doesn’t work.

You got unread messages, probably. Clear all by going to notifications bell and click Mark Read, right at the bottom...

You can also check watched threads here: https://simpcity.su/watched/threads blue/cyan dot means you got an unread message

I found only the watched threads I recently clicked into share a notification bell. Your best bet is to just check your watched page itself and scroll it. Anything in there with the little blip next to the title is a thread that has been replied to since your last visit. The blips only go away when you click into those threads. Hope this helped.

The issue I have found is not necessarily that I don't get notifications, it's that they are delayed.
Screenshots of a notification I thought I got today for a post that came in 26+ hours ago (and that I had already viewed):

Also believe this may be the same issue as:
Youngdude98 - https://simpcity.su/threads/watched-threads.99630/
Tld - https://simpcity.su/threads/watch-doesnt-send-notifications-when-new-post-are-made.97133/
(If they can confirm that they got notifications, just hours/days late that would help identify the issue)

Hopefully admins can check and see if there is an issue or if it is just a bug that we need to live with.

Yep! I have the same issue and it's been happening before we came to SimpCity, I made a post about it back then but no one replied. I don't see why we can't just activate email notification like we have on so many forums, it'll probably fix this issue.

Well, I can't be on the site everyday to not miss out on notifications, due to work and real life, me and a lot of people are going to be offline for several days and I know of the method to click "Mark Read" but then that would get rid of old notifications as well, and on top of missing the present notifications I would end up losing the past ones as well.

All in all this isn't really a good method to inform people of their watched thread and I really think and email system would be much more effective.

Instead of making a new thread i just borrow this one. I just got a notification for a thread im watching and the new post is at the top of the page while below its post from Jul 4th, Jul 27th etc. Not sure if this is a common bug

I also have problems receiving notifications for the threads on my watch list. The issue is pretty glaring given that my watched threads list is 173 pages long as of this writing (enough threads to permit dozens of alerts over the course of a single day, while receiving only a fraction of alerts for new thread posts made within a 24-hour period), so a fix to allow notifications for all threads that a user watches, irrespective of whether they’ve recently viewed any particular thread, would be greatly appreciated.

I'm very aware of the mark read function, i acess the forum multiple times a day.

Everytime i enter the forum, i check the new posts, opening in a new tab, and mark everthing read.

And still was not 1, or 2...was a bunch of threads that i don't get notified by the system.

One of my hipotesis is that the system can't handle deliver new notifications to users with a higher X number of watched threads.
