I just checked them out. They're so brief it took me so much time to find them. Doesn't even total 5 seconds. In those first 2 episodes she's basically there just to look pretty. Pretty much a recurring extra/background character. Imo it will be the same through the next 4 episodes. She will just appear in the background doing some random shit, like handling cards, being a waitress etc.


So this is definitely weird how she went to Cannes and is basically being tagged as a main part of the cast. Could be a case of nepotism or some shit that helped her get on the show.

It could be she just starts off as mostly a background character and her role grows throughout the season and she becomes a bigger focus in the later episodes. I have seen that happen in other shows with characters so I wouldn't abandon all hope yet dude 🤣 but we're best not getting our hopes up at the same time and just wait and see what happens.

I am still going to assume her role grows a bit, not sure how much but at least enough to warrant cannes, etc.

I noticed in the credits after the episodes she is 1 of 4 or 5 who gets her name in the guest appearances part. Meanwhile, a woman named Charly Summer (porn star) who was one of the girls laying on the floor in a scene last night, was not credited at all.

So, either Sophie's role grows to deserve the credit or there's a lot of interesting work being done by her people to get her name prominently displayed

a trip to cannes costs the production company/studios a lot of money per person (flights, hotel, food, party, etc.)... they aren't wasting it on "eye candy" because that doesn't matter and sophie isn't a big enough deal to get them more attention

either her role grows thus warranting the inclusion or her agency paid for it to get her name/image out there with hopes it'll pay off in the future just like they did for the recent paparazzi photos... a pap didn't just randomly spot her the other day grabbing a smoothie while wearing a tank top showing so much boobage, her people called a pap up and told them where she'd be and when and to go shoot her (heck, they may have paid the pap to do it)

I just checked the credits, she was listed as a part of " co-starring ". Guest appearances was separate and she wasn't part of it. So yes, it either should grow to deserve the title of " co-star " or some interesting work happened behind the scenes like you mentioned.

Pretty sure they sent her to Cannes cuz she has 2.7M+ IG Followers. Just like them using Bianca Ghezzi as the bartender and other popular social media personalities. They’re probably casting hot women in nothing roles to increase awareness and get free publicity. I doubt her going to Cannes has anything to do with the size/importance of her role.
