As for the similar forums out there, even if they are not as great as this one they are necessary and represent something I believe to be important.
When you request drops not be shared elsewhere and the 1k+ respect that then you know you are in a good community.
As long as the simp community remains, where we end up really doesn't matter.

Yeah traffic took a huge hit, now online users cap at 10k, whereas in the TB days they were at least double that number.
There are a couple of reasons for this:
the official Twitter channels directed traffic to without then mentioning simpcity, they therefore warned against other copycat forums (people think this is one of those to stay away from since there was no confirmation on the official channels) moreover many members like me used a throwaway email to sign up and have not received any updat3s, also the unofficial subreddit that was giving updätes has been banned

It appears the webmasters have decided to bring back the verified models promotion idea that SEG and TB had, completely ignoring that might have been what had gotten both sites taken down in the first place, with certain verifieds possibly informing others of leaked content on those sites and catching wind of lawyers like the one who got SEG taken down.

Users should probably put pressure on the webmasters to nix the idea unless they want this SimpCity to go down, too.

Women can inform other women about this site regardless of if verified models exist or not. No offense, but you don't know what you're talking about at all and should probably avoid random speculation like this as it makes you look rather foolish.

Problem is adding verified models makes it easier for one of those models to inform others (including lawyers) of this site, basically a fox in the henhouse situation. (Some smaller OF models have reported on TB on the r/Piracy Reddit thread, likely including through those who were given the ability to self-promote their content on TB.)

I’m not the only one whose thought of this. Before the Thotsbay Reddit was nixed, I saw a couple of comments on one thread pointing out the inclusion of verified models as one of a few reasons why TB got into legal trouble (with upvotes in agreement). You’ll notice other leak sites like and NS don’t have verified models, and they’ve been operating longer than SEG/TB had, without opening themselves to the same legal exposure that got TB canned.

Nobody here wants to have to go through having to migrate to a new site that the administrators have to start up months from now, if a verified model informs others of this site’s existence and one gets a copyright lawyer like the one who brought down TB to take SimpCity down. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

The old site had 30k concurrent users online at any given time. Women were going to find out about the site with or without the verified models section and it's a very strange leap in logic to try and connect the two and pretend like they wouldn't of found out about the site without that section existing.

It doesn't even make sense if you give it even more thought and put yourself in their shoes. If you were one of these women making content would you rather A become a verified model for free and have all your leaks get taken down or B spend a ton of time and money in legal fees when you can just do option A? If anything the verified models helped stop stuff like that from happening in the first place.

You're 100% allowed to not like the verified models section that's completely fine, but trying to blame them for the old site getting taken down is just not the move and makes no sense if you think about it.

Sure I can see that.
But changing sites is not the only reason users go missing.
People age out of this stuff / lose interest or money / get a new job / get married etc.
Of course there are new people coming into it too but I don't have that much hope with the younger generation, most of them using their phones and not paying any mind to security / not knowing how to download stuff / getting around ads etc.
The scene is changing and I'm not sure it's for the better.
