I had a 6TB hard drive completely full of fappage that crashed recently. My pc reads it as a “local disk” and show no storage capacity. If I double click on it it just crashes my windows explorer window. Is there any hope at all for recovering this data or am I fucked? Some of this stuff I’ve been hanging on to for over 10 years

Does it actually make any noise or sound like it is actually spinning?
If so, that might be half the battle.

You could try making yourself a linux live CD or USB

or a bootable hirens USB

Boot from either of these systems and see if the HDD data can be recognized.
