my old profile banner was a GIF and when i tried to change it, error always occured and the old banner was gone, so its not possible now to use GIF as banner? if it yess maybe my GIF size is the problem, then pls let me know the proper size for it, thanks

You should be able to, there's no real limits on size but keep it sensible. The forum just times out or errors if its too big, I don't know how big is too big though
