restart pc, clear browser cache, try again.
if that doesn't work, make a new saint profile (don't use your simpcitylogin) and save the password in your browser.
it indeed is weird like that sometimes and you have to re-log.

Having the same issue
logged in and out 20ish times and still not working
Also created a new account and now it won't even log me in, just keeps telling me i've logged in but keeps telling me to log in again and again
I've had this issue before and restarting/clearing cache/changing browsers entirely hasn't fixed it

The other issue with the new account isn't giving an error code, but logging in successfully takes me back to the original upload button in the middle of screen but you can still see in the top righthand corner it still says log in, so I know it didn't actually work
EDIT: If you did or changed something then it worked so thank you
