Because he doesn't have anyone's content on his sites, and he hasn't for almost a decade, when all that business was settled. Jules knows this, but he's still gotta stir it up. I guess that's what happens when your DVD sales tank and you never figured out internet traffic. So, you post real names (mods, come on!) and blah blah blah about shit that was settled years ago.

And he's actually a great guy, too. Ask the performers who he pays rate to -- same day -- and has never bounced a check.
We all make mistakes in our life. Not many of us actually pay for them. Regardless of what Jules may or may not post as a follow-up, Blacks on Blondes has settled this matter with all parties mentioned.

I found this exchange hilarious for several reasons. First being that Dogfart did eventually sell their content on DVD in 2010 (1 year later) and although in 2024 physical media sales are historically low there is still a collector's market. I also lol when another fan said "Maybe the guy should lower the prices for his overpriced DVD's instead of crying like a baby in this thread!" I agree Jules Jordan Video DVDs are more expensive than other studios even during discount sales. Also Jules Jordan has successfully sued and won a case involving his content but this was years later
What Jules said is true though. Before Dogfart started producing their own original content in 2002 they did steal content from other studios and made money in the early days of internet porn. I believe it's why studios like Jules Jordan and Evil Angel still watermark their content on DVDs to this very day

Because on one side they agree on 80% of the time while the 20% other will probably never be addressed at all, just pretension, while the other its the opposite, and that 20% they agree upon have slippery sloppery that can escalate against them. I'm a fan of Pierre's work myself. You can't be lazy and not do your homework and expect to show up and have everything be to your liking. It's like showing up to shoot for Blacked without wanting to do IR, or agree to shoot for kink without liking any sort of fetish.
