which is why the industry has never ever unionised to fight for it's own common good. it's like trying to herd a bunch of cats. which makes their constant talk about how the porn community is one big family look even more farcical esp when they're actively trying to cancel each other.

Some years ago there was a period of time where it was kind of common knowledge in the industry that Uma was not a great person to work with, or even just be around.
Apparently, Uma was constantly using really racist language, behaving very selfishly, being really rude and mean on sets, was drunk and stoned all the time, and always acting like she and her boyfriend were king and queen shit.
Other female industry stars distanced themselves from her as friends, and there was cat-fighting, drama, and wars of words on social media.
During this time studios and production companies would not hire her, either.

These were accounts of a specific time in her life, though, and Uma has most likely moved passed all that.

However, she does work in "the oldest industry in the world", and some revue sites do have postings about her being extremely hard to deal with.

Uma was one of the pure natural prettiest women imo to be in porn from 2015-2019 or whenever she got out. no lip fillers, botox or acne. but i remember it became a thing i think someone asked her about interracial and thats when thee whole racial shit came about. she tried to blame it on her bf at the time he didnt want her with any black dudes lol

Has there been controversies with Tony Rubino? other than the Mia Khalifa stuff and I know Gianna Dior dated him when she first got into the industry now she doesn't even mention his name & deleted all the content she had with him on OF when she started.

I'd rather them not openly admit it, then later in their career finally do it by surprise (while others for some reason don't at all). I feel like over the last decade but most definitely last 5 years, the newer age of performers are a lot more comfortable doing scenes with Black performers now compared to before. Plus many agencies have stopped using the "IR" term as well.

Go back to 10-15 years ago in the industry... there were a lot more performers who didn't want to work with Black performers whether they took the "IR" term/genre seriously or not. "Blacked", the first Vixen (former Lansky) site in 2014 also changed the game as well although I always had mixed feelings about that company... the ups & downs, it's really not for this thread honestly.
