NGL remembers that 4 years ago, when OTV was at its peak of popularity, other streamers would have to tame their content to try to collab with them, like GreekGodx, etc. Now you see OTV trying too hard to collab with OTK. I remember they were basically extras at Shitcamp 2. To be honest, most OTV either jumped to YouTube and live in their bubble or they kind of estagnated. which is what happened to Pokimane. Now she's richer than the laaaarge (98%) majority of streamers, but she did fall off big time in relevance and clout. Remember Cinna trying to befriend her at her rajjroullete. Now it's Poki trying so hard to befriend Austin female streamers. Straight up asking Miskif to come to LA.

She got into podcasts at the worst possible time, when that entire industry is on a big down swing. If she had done it in 2017-18 with another really big streamer or personality or 2 it probably would've been pretty successful and pulled a lot of good sponsors.

I mean 1 pokimane is already a brand 2 I don't know how you think what she is currently doing isn't working out she streams maybe twice a week just playing valo and still hits a consistent 7k+ which isn't bad considering twitch isn't as popular rn and no one has cared about valorant in a while she can still get any sponsorship she wants and has one with Samsung right now and her podcast is doing pretty ok and if it wasn't she would actually monetize it but she hasn't

they tried it back i 2019 i remember OTV og podcast and it sucked frankly streamers are very lazy people they love sticking their name on brand deals but not actually working they way they kinda gave up on their OG podcast and all type of shows they produced . Just to stream
