Those are the messages that are used to update the little number on the messages tab on the main site. I'm not sure what caused the missed message, but those logs aren't related

I'm also not getting notifications for messages, works ok for wall posts but not messages

Messages are working now so I'm assuming it was an issue on Onlyfans end as usual

Others have mentioned the same issue, but I've been unable to replicate it. The dynamic rules fiasco of 2 weeks ago happened around the same time as OF changed their websocket endpoint, so I'll try looking for a better source of dynamic rules and see if that changes anything.

Found a more up-to-date host for dynamic rules and bumped the dependencies for the websocket connections. Doesn't guarantee a fix, so let me know if it's still broken

Also, in the past I've tried to set this up to notify for some users and download all but it would only download those I had it set to notify. Is that expected behavior?

I think the fact you ask this means it isn't expected behavior lol. Just to be sure, your settings file would look like this:

and it only downloaded content from user1 and user2? Also roughly when was 'in the past'?

When I say past I mean always
I think it looked like that, I've ended up just duplicating the names in the notify and download lines.
I'll try your config and see if it downloads from everyone and just notifies for the names in the notify line.

Edit: Yeah your config is working for posts at least, will keep an eye on messages.

If you duplicate the user list from the notify line to the download line, of course it will only download from those that also cause notifications, the snippet above should notify for only user1 and user2 while downloading from everyone.
