Or did she send it as a locked message?
so if a provider decides in the future she wants to take down her page then all the content is gone, correct?
I have some customs that I'd like to preserve, not so much that they were expensive, but they took a lot of cajoling to get from the model as she told me she rarely makes customs. none of the downloaded videos were playing earlier, but now most of them are.
I guess I should go ahead and try to screen record them while I can still play them.

I believe everything sent through dm's will still be available to you, I think the only way you lose those is if you hit "clear messages".
if the customs were made before OF rolled out DRM, you should be able to download them like you were previously. widevine DRM (which is what OF uses) just encrypts videos so that they can't be viewed without the key, and I think it only encrypts them when uploaded to their servers. it does not go back and encrypt all videos that a model previously posted to their page
some of the customs I ordered a long time ago (before DRM was switched on) weren't playing earlier today. i was only getting a blank screen. they seem to be playing ok now though, but nonetheless i'm still worried (and annoyed). makes me less likely to want to purchase OF content.

but not able to download - tried different browsers , plugins for downloader since the option to download shows for the earlier videos and not after that . - can't say whether he enabled the DRM or not ?
Ah least you still have it in your purchased to watch. Not ideal but lucky it wasn't a tip and unlocked dm deal. She could of deleted that shit

I bought a video at beginning of the year but I don't know if it's possible and legal to keep a copy of it now that a new level of security was added.
The sad part of this is OF don't care much about the clients. I paid for a video once, I saw it and the girl deleted it and I ended with nothing. I think OF should allow to keep a copy of a video if you paid for it, because no one assures you it will be gone at the next day you bough it. Or at least ask for a refund for the money, because you practically buy air (nothing).

You still have it then mate. Go to your home page. Click purchased and type the users name. It will be there
This tab, everything you buy is there. They can delete from the chat. But not from here. Only if its an unlocked vid, one you tipped then they sent. That will go if they delete from chat, as far as I understand
I remember Udemy adding DRM,and one way to get the DRM keyID and key was to extract it from android (needs to be rooted, or you can use Android Emulator) and use them to download with udemy-downloader.
I'll test it out to see if it works for OF as well , if it does I'll try to create a guide.
