I'd probably put that down to OF's API, not a lot I can do if it's being slow, that could be down to many factors out of my control.
It did seem strange alright, that things would suddenly go awry.
Hard to say really, you can be rate limited when downloading stuff, not sure about just trying to get the information about yourself which is what first happens to evaluate if the information in the auth.json is valid. Like I said I can't do anything about speed.
They already do if you scrape too much with digitalcriminals script too fast, they soft ban your IP for a short period.
Had this issue as well using an older version. Updated to use 1.7.11 and it goes through to logged in with no issues and then immediately closes before bringing up the menu. Not sure what’s causing it to error out when retrieving profile data, but that seems to be what is happening. Saw someone else reported that exact issue in GitHub as well.
Ensure there are no stray spaces. An easy way to check is copy and paste into a word doc and on the home tab select the show/hide icon. Any stray spaces will cause this in my experience.
Login is fine, no stray spaces. It looks like sim0n00ps was able to determine that OF changed their json return for list retrieval based on a reply on GitHub and will be fixing shortly.
If you want to give 1.7.12 a go and see if it works now, I believe I identified the issue and hopefully should be all good now
Atm I cannot get onto OF at all, haven't been able to for the last hour or so. Might be some issues on OF's end.

Did you start with a new json file or just copy and paste the existing/older version?
Can confirm 1.7.12 works fine, thank you for providing us with this invaluable tool!
For now the only way would be just to run the scrape again on that profile and everything else should be skipped apart from anything new. So the newest video should be downloaded on top of what you already have downloaded. I will make a standalone tool for just downloading DRM videos similar to the current program as I know a lot of people aren't interested in downloading everything currently.
That would speed the process up. 2 checks are made if its set to downloaded in the database and also if the file exists.
