Try this.

in auth.jsonI use Jdownloader2 or YT-DLG GUI or the extension "allow left-click". The extension is last resort and usually if the other two doesn't work is the one that always work. Just make sure that if there is an option in the player to ramp up the quality of the video, to put it to the highest quality if it's not already on it before doing the right click and doing "save video as...".
Well on GitHub the initial project hasn't been worked on or updated over 7 years now. But there is a lot of people that did their own forks (variations made from the initial project's source code) on the project.
Also having this issue with digitalcriminals. I'm auth'd in fine, welcome message and given a list of profiles to scrape. It scrapes the avatar/header and generates metadata, but all the folders that would contain content come out empty.
Totally. Downloaded a fresh master zip which authd but there are so many bugs and issues. I remember always being the case which is how I found the other one, which I've never had an issue with.
I agree that DC's scraper can be a bit finicky (and often buggy - hell see the issue where you have to disable scraping messages to actually scrape messages. Makes no sense), especially with the constant unnecessary Python version bumping, but I think it's the best one out there if configured correctly.
start_ofd.py
it might be better to open a separate cmd window (navigate to the OF scraper directory, click on the "address bar" in Windows Explorer and type "cmd", hit enter. Should open a cmd window inside the current directory") and running python start_ofd.py
manually instead. While not ideal, it would at least let you read the error message, which I'm not sure the double-clicking method does (I imagine the cmd window might close as soon as the program quits, but not sure).
