As much as I dislike the DRM aspect of OnlyFans, it now appears that if the account holder deletes their onlyfans, you will lose all purchased content. That makes me even more reluctant to give money to someone who can wipe out the things I bought on a whim.

I can understand someone leaving and closing down their account, but when messages and content shared there vanish, when your purchases are listed under "Deleted user" and are difficult to find, it makes investment unwise. I did support the creators I followed and am glad I downloaded their content but dislike paying for something I no longer have access to.

Ironically, I suspect this may well increase piracy and decrease support. As you say, why pay for something that could be removed on a whim?

Exactly, Companies that implement anti consumer tactics on platforms only make ppl pirate more

Platforms need to understand if they want to tackle piracy, It's to offer products better than piracy, Not introduce anti consumer methods

That last statement, with regards to buying and owning, I always thought is not fair that you are not able to download the content your purchase through the site without the need of any additional tools or plug-ins. And some models even state that purchasing doesn't mean you own the content and still belongs to them
