DRM is intended to stop piracy, it's not mean to stop you watching stuff you bought. So complain to the creator and maybe they'll reconsider their use of it (like many already have).

Chatters or "community managers" will only ever play dumb because they either don't know about DRM, or they're not allowed to turn it off. The only way to get it turned off is by getting through to the actual model herself, which almost always requires ultra-VIP status (big, big spending history) and a very strong rapport with the model. It's very difficult, but not impossible.

The more I think about this there really is only one way to combat this: everyone or most need to stop purchasing on onlyfans.

The models and site are doing this to stop people from sharing content elsewhere except 95% of those who only get free content never pay for stuff anyway.

The only people they’re hurting are their real fans and customers by not letting us download what we buy.

Once their income takes a major dip and nobody is buying to rent anymore things will change. Until then, they’re winning.

Did the entire site just enable DRM? I got a notice saying that only fans now wants to use Widevine site wide now... Wtf?! I'm getting sick and tired of these anti-consumerous practices! If I pay for something I want to have the right to download it!

I go to the website and I get this pop up asking if I want to allow the site to use widevine, I didn't proceed from there because I didn't want to lose my rights that I purchased and not be able to download anything anymore. But apparently they are now protected by wide Vine

Huh interesting, I don't recall getting that pop-up, maybe cus I have the OF downloader extension on. Might have to turn it off and see if I get that pop-up.

I'm using brave for Android and it seems like it's somehow detected that I had DRM disabled, so it popped up and noticed saying that the site uses DRM wide Vine and when I clicked okay it re-enabled the DRM option in my settings. That's strange because it's never done that before and I've always had DRM disabled.

The DRM option in your settings is for content creation. Turning off your DRM does not affect the DRM settings of the creators you subscribe to. It only affects DRM on any videos you post when your DRM is on. Not sure why you're getting messages. I turned off my OF downloader extension and didn't get any messages either.
