To be completely honest, I can't say for sure she lied 100% about the train incident. However, it was very suspicious as she was under constant attack from pretty much everyone, and when she revealed she received no sympathy, because people immediately thought she was making it up or blowing it out of proportion due to the drama she was facing. She was fishing for some pity. And the general answer was confronting her with screenshots of her problematic behavior. She never mentioned this again, or any other situation that could be similar to this, so it's likely she was either lying or twisting some truth into something that was not entirely real.

And if it was real, nobody took sympathy on her, which is actually kinda sad.

The thing that I never understood is, regardless of whether it's true or not... why is it even relevant? It holds little to no relevance or bearing upon the fact that she fucked up and made a bunch of obviously racist/insensitive content and then started acting like an enormous bitch when she got called out on it.

So I don't really get why she decided to throw it out there in response to actually being called out on her bullshit.

Because Mikomi does not only manages her own image, but a lot of other cosplayers. Every other girl she's collabed or even made a promo with, like Enafox, Gumiho, Meryl, Pialoof, etc. Depend on things Miko does for them, or Miko and their group. In the past, she's reccomended them as girls to follow, and she and her team was in charge of controlling some of those girls' socials. And it's kinda apparent she has some influence over the content they release as well. On top of that, she's been trying to push herself as the "boss" of cosplay, she did a session for Playboy France (no nudity), she's been on mainstream TV in Belgium, etc. She started as some sort of 4chan pandering girl, but realized that keeping up with that image would eventually hurt her ambitions.

it's the thing they do,a lot of the people just give a like to free updates from social media posted here but they add up and allow these accounts to become VIP in a relatively short time. Mikomi's thread is pretty bad in this regard. Her content is pretty uninteresting but they really make an effort to push her as hard as they can.
