As for Screenshots it is actually advertising for the videos. As you can see the like ratio for the video and the screens. Not everyone wants to download a 25 Minute video if it is not worth it. No one there also fishing for likes but just want to share stuff. Here you could even disable likes etc.
As for Wallpapers: Why not? Wallpapers done right are cool as well. Colorgrading is great and so on. Everyone is good at something else.
Definitely just talking about the wallpapers. More times than not, the screenshots come along with the videos in the same post and even if they don't, you're 100% right about people not always wanting to watch the videos and them being a good addition. I agree with that fully. The wallpapers, while I could see some people appreciating them, are what I'm referring to about a blatant repost fishing for likes. They just ping unnecessary watch notifications for content we've already seen. They surely have their place somewhere, but I just feel the main thread isn't it. And was this something people have ever asked for?
