Definitely. My first viewing of it, I went in blind. I liked Dev Patel and thought the trailers showed kick-ass cinematography, so I gave it a shot. After I was done, I started doing a bunch of research to get better acquainted with the source material. I love a film that is good enough on first viewing that it makes me want to learn in order to understand it better, then gets even better with a repeat viewing afterwards. I've watched the entirety of The Wire several times for the same reason (learning all the police and drug-dealer nomenclature can be daunting at first).
If you haven't seen A Ghost Story, you should give it a go. It put Lowery on the map. Not my favorite movie or anything, but a really interesting take on a sad-but-well-written love story (with seriously weird space-time continuum stuff added in for good measure) between Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara's characters. And the fact that the ghost is literally a guy with a white sheet over him is hilarious until you realize what the sheet is.
Back to Maimy, however; ConstantiusGallusCaesar, have you or anyone else who is subbed made the attempt (via the OF comments section) to clarify to Maimy that if she doesn't start pausing subscriptions or giving out free months when she takes these all-too-frequent (and sometimes very lengthy) hiatuses, that you guys will simply stop subbing altogether, and seek her content out on the Seven Seas in lieu of.
I know that you personally would need to be bluffing for our sake, but it seems crazy to me that there aren't at least a healthy sprinkling of relatively-normal like-minded porn consumers subbed to her that see it for what it is: a monetary transaction for services rendered where services aren't being rendered. It's very much like paying some kid up-front to cut your lawn, and they cut like half of it (or less), then take the fuck off leaving an IOU... And then they do it again, and again, and again. You're never left with a fully manicured lawn, yet your bank account is still being withdrawn from. The twelve-year-old boy who is supposed to do it is masterfully elusive/evasive except for when it's payday. And then one day, you see him on the lawn tractor with a new set of tits bouncing as he rides... And you are left with the gnawing-yet-rhetorical question in your mind, "Is that what I was actually paying for this entire time?"
