She posted new insta stories, showing off her studio. The strange part is that it's older, as her studio is still under construction, and it's all her being happy, fun girly. I don't know how to share vids on here, though.

The problem with this constant flip flopping in her behavior, breaks, writer blockage, "it's that time of the month" and i don't know how many other reasons there may be, is not only no content but no content on any platform. No youtube videos, she hasn't streamt on twitch in over 4 months, onlyfans/fansly content is rare and if you pay for any of that it is even more infuriating because you pay not only for no content but for her lazy ass as well in a way.
That's why i have the utmost respect for ConstantiusGallusCaesar (no ass kissing) for still sticking through and bringing us content, if there any is of course.
Sure Mental illness is no joke (i've battled that shit myself) but with her history and all that stuff i don't know if it's even meaningful that she's doing onlyfans/fansly.

Yeah, very well said! I'm sure we all here wish her the best, and mental illness is no joke indeed, but we aren't her friends, family, or BF's. This gig is her job, and she sells products people pay for or are expecting to be released and you could also not have these breaks at other (normal) jobs every 2 months. Say what you will about Aftyn, and the way she ended things was very shitty, but at least she paused her subscriptions every time she took a break. Honestly, I don't think Maimy is fit for the job and pushes herself way to much. The number of canceled vids alone should tell you that. Some content creators have trouble just streaming, but she wants to do that and do YouTube, run 2 Insta pages, have a Twitter page, does Fansly and has an OnlyFans page AND interacts with fans. Now, I'm sure her bf has a major part in running all this, but that's A LOT for one person, and it shows she clearly can't handle it with these constant breakdowns. So my suggestion to her, scale things down a bit and focus on just OnlyFans/lewd asmr stuff and youtube or something with 1 insta page. She's great at what she's does, but I'm not sure she can keep this up.
Another problem is that Maimy is carrying this entire lewd ASMR genre. If she quits, the genre is dead, and she is the benchmark, atm. An ultra-sad fact of life that few people want to acknowledge because we're trying not to come off as insensitive or tone-deaf is that there are certain flavors of mental illness that guarantees that the afflicted will most likely not do well in being a functional human being for the remainder of their lives; this can be mitigated somewhat through medication (depends on the illness because not every mental illness can be treated with medication - autism, for one), therapy and perhaps a minder/handler. Whether it's "her time of the month" or she has some sort of imbalance in her brain owing to her mental illness, Mai is simply meeting expectations when she has an "episode" and we can't will her return to making content since she's her own boss/team. I also think it's fair to regard her behavior as typical of her illness as well as unprofessional since money is involved.
There's a reason why the workforce doesn't make bipolar or manic depressive individuals CEOs or leaders - see Kanye West, Britney Spears, Brian Wilson and others for good case studies in how mental illness fucks up a person's ability to have any sort of stable career. A more direct comparison is another NSFW ASMR heavyweight like Puffin ASMR.
All we can do is move on to the next "big thing" if and when it comes around and be prepared to leave Mai behind if she goes dark/doesn't come back.
